Is there a way, through gff editing of a tile or other way, to turn off the rendering of tall grass in a specific tile of a tileset?  I'm using some flat pit placeables and the effect of a yawning maw of darkness is diminished by the stalks of grass sticking out of said pit.

Thanks!

grass is one of the materials in the WOK - also called the AABB mesh. if you change the material for those particular triangles, from grass to dirt or leaves or some such, the grass you see in game won't show up.

Is that something I can modify without haking the tileset?  If I can do it through an edit to that specific area, fantastic.  Otherwise, I'll try to find another way to get around it.

If you change the walk material of that tile and you use it more than once in your areas the grass will be gone where-ever that tile is used, not only under your pit placeable. Since you'd have to edit at least one tile anyway, it would be a better idea to actually make a real pit instead of using a placeable.
