I unlocked Bsent the other day and have been looking at builds. He seems underwhelming, but maybe there's more going on below the surface. I'd like to take him into gold, but I'm not really sure what to do with him (see the link in my sig for current unlocks). I prefer mid-to-long range combat, but the more I play with shotguns the better I get. I do NOT like melee combat and much prefer playing support over CQC.

With that in mind, I have a few questions:

1) Blade Armor: It seems like a poor sub for TA. That being said, a fair number of people swear by 5b. I can understand the satisfaction of having a brute one-shot itself, but outside of that limited scenario I don't see the appeal. How far up the chain should spec BA?

2) Shockwave: Huh, good god, y'all. What is it good for? Do I put any points into it at all?

3) Submission Net: 4b 5a 6b? I'm not really sure how to spec it. Any tips/tricks I should know about? Can I net more than one thing at a time?

4) Enforcer: 4a 5b 6b, right? Seems like this guy should be a weapons platform.

On gold and plat, the damage returned doesn't scale properly. Although it's helpful in certain situations, I wouldn't take it. Cause even when you have it on, you still have the damage return happen.

2. I spec all the way into shockwave. Radius, detonate (always helps to have if you get dropped in with a biotic team), recharge speed. It's a good stagger power but it is a bit iffy and can go through enemies even though it looked like it was supposed to hit.

This is how I run him. It may not be the most efficient build but damn if it's not satisfying. Popping heads off host with that gun is the most satisfying thing that can be done at least for me.

See signature below. He's definitely not underwhelming! My quickest plat solo is with him :) Shockwave all the way! He's just so tanky with the build I used, which makes for a great character for solos. People may get annoyed of the constant shockwave in team matches, so I wouldn't use him in back-to-back games :P

@ Krauser: love how you use the kishock with him. Purist! ;)

When a batarian gives advice about a batarian character, you've got to take it! ;)

I think there was a build for him as a mobile Harrier Turret...

Basically I go 3 in Net and use Shockwave to detonate things.  Take a decent gun.

I use a 35666 build. Maxing Blade Armor is great on the Batguard, but not so useful on the Batsol and the Batsent IMO.

With this build, you're very tanky and have Shockwave at 5, which is a good point if you're in a biotic team. About his passive, go for full weapon damage. Given the low raw damage of his powers, the Batsent need to bring some punch with his gun, so take a weapon with a high dps. The Harrier is a good choice, the spare ammunition bonus of the Batsent mitigates a lot the low capacity problem of this rifle.

I do 3 in BA and 5 in fitness. Use gun with disruptor ammo and spam shockwave for tech bursts, I use the Piranha to make up for weakness against armor.

Ok, this (and what others have said) is almost the exact opposite of what I've read. However, everything that I've been able to find is old. Like 2012 old. So has shockwave been buffed since then? From my own personal experience, I'm not a fan of Shockwave.

Ok, I like it, but which evos do you take for shockwave and net?

I don't see why anyone would invest more than pity points in Net, but to each their own.

If you are on PC don't take the Radius evo of Shockwave.

I like the idea of net. It's a very unique power and I've never had the opportunity to use it before. Maybe this build will be a throw-away, but I'm not in this to top the scoreboard.

I don't really remember off the top of my head but I know radius is still bugged on PC. He was also the first character I unlocked in the first dlc for this game so I have had a ton of time to play him. The kishock just goes hand in hand with him and the vorcha engy. Space whaling ahoy!

I use Harrier only on batarians. Sentinel: since his powers not really deliver too much damage I can spec the Enforcer: 4a,5a,6b. I have a good ammo, weapon damage, and that power damage loss (and the slight increase in CD) doesn't matter much.

Blade Armor: rank3 should be enough. 25% DR is always good, and you shouldn't forget that any melee on you also staggers the enemy too. It's very useful for example against the Almighty Elbow of the Marauder.

Net: always 4a,5a and 6a or 6b. 6b is more fun when enemies suddenly shocked by the Net. However, if you cast it on an armored target, it will slow it down (by 5a evo) but the Net won't effect on the nearby enemies.

I don't like Shockwave at all. I'm on PC and it's a sahme I can't choose radius evo. However, on batarian sentinel I use it  (rank4 damage).

I like the net to catch Phantoms and after catching... headshot. So i got 10 Headshot medal with the Graal.

Shockwave : 4a, 5a

Submission Net : 4a, 5a, 6a. The 6b evolution isn't bad however.

I spec out of shockwave.  I use blade armor all the way with damage reduction - and you get 40%.  I equip him with a Piranha shotgun with Disruptor rounds, 2 shotgun amps, and keep shooting until the clip runs out and I reload cancel with Submission Net.  You just keep firing with this guy and pop an ammo pack for when you go up against a Praetorian or Atlas for that extra damage.

He's a lot of fun to see how fast you can reload cancel and keep shooting.  He's a damage monster on platinum. You can also play the Batsol this way but with Ballistic Blades - which I like even better.  But for some reason I just play with the Harrier on the soldier.

Hum, i m not used to SW and this guy. But why do U use power bonus (amp and passive, passive cause of venom ok) ? Is it mostly for SW force ?

Moreover i thought the net would have been great for TB during a solo ?

And for blade armor i thought 5b was almost useless on plat ?

Yeah, I took power since I knew I'd be using shockwave almost as much as my gun in that run. I didn't need a cyclonic cause my build was tanky enough. Adrenaline would have been another option but I felt I didn't really need it for FB White. 5b in Blade armor in a Plat solo is solely for surprise hunters and Marauders. I find that's how I die most often - respawning trollage. I agree, it's use is minimal, but it might save me an ops or gel. As for the net, I just found I never used it and it was a waste of points for me. If I were using a gun other than the Venom, I might consider spec'ing a max of 3 in net.

Batarian Passives that is all but.........

He's basically a mobile Juggernaut that is absolutely perfect for the Harrier because of his passives.

Sub net is kind of particular, if you cast it at sort of an angle instead of directly at the enemy it will curve and hit them when they try to roll. I personally cast it just above their right shoulder. You should place it at the top of ladders, doorways, etc. Always put it on the ground in front of phantoms.

Shockwave just staggers and CCs while laying down Harrier fire and killing everything.

Blade armor generally gives you a little breathing room when something sneaks up on you and stuns the enemy when they melee you.

I use this build when I want to use a kit that, basically, cannot be killed by conventional means... with the shield regen from tier 5 in both Blade Armour and Fitness ... and Stronghold Gear ... and Shield Power Cell equipment. Yeah, you can basically ignore cover and just keep running and gunning the whole time - get shot (unless it's by something with tedious DoT) and your shields will be back up before you can say "Hate-Surf, Mofo!"

I used a respec card and skipped Blade Armour. SW Radius Android reach.. Made him a melee boss. Slap a scimitar on him and then just go to town on everything man...

... how is he a melee boss if you skipped 40% extra melee damage from the Blade Armour tree?

U think stagger them thanks to 5b (which is great with those respawning b*a**h) ?

At least give me a fighting chance vs elbows of doom to the back of my head! I'd prob go with 5a in regular gameplay for that added shield regen so that you can play even more aggressively but he's got such high shields anyway I thought a little revenge vs a sneaky Marauder or hunter would be nice in a solo. cause you know you're going to have to ops if you get elbowed.
