Disruptor ammo ensures targets are stunned and primed for a tech burst with shockwave. Also, stripping shields lets you use shockwave more effectively. Flying marauders become a regular sight with this guy. The equipped mods let you use tripple hit bug on bosses.

Host!
Kishock dot stacked on subnet dot is fun.
Explosive ammo for lulz.
And shields recharge is ~1 second!
Shockwave is for crowd control.

I think that's the first time I've ever seen a 5/5/6/5/5 build ... and you know what, it looks like it makes perfect sense. You've got both the shield regen boosters which are, in my opinion, the cornerstone of invincible Batarian builds, without really sacrificing anything too important. Plus it leaves enough points to take Shockwave to 5 which gives you options for better BEs to be friendly to any Adepts on the team ... or the range.

I may use a respec card and give this a whirl! :)

Whats wrong with using a good gun on a character?

BatSent doesn't have an iWin power like flamer of snap freeze to only use power spam and succeed. Sure, subnet + shockwave can give you nice TBs but half the enemies dodge subnet anyway.

Then again, you mentioned that you don't like shockwave. So, if you want to use subnet as your main power, you need a good weapon. You can't expect to do well with a shuriken and sub-net alone, atleast not on gold and above. You need a good weapon to do well and the powers are an excellent support.

GPS is toooo easy. Gotta spice thangs up. Lm
ao!!!

This is how I feel about Venom. It's easy and lame. If other players want to use, that's fine. But it isn't something I'm interested in.

I never really got used to the Venom tbh. I rocked it for a minute when I played briefly on the ps3.

It's like the GPS and Falcon had a baby. It's really good vs mooks.. average vs bosses unless you abuse incendiary gltiches.

i done good? Yay! :) also shockwave detonates tech and biotic, which I'm sure you knew, so you could detonate sub net or spraying incendiary/disruptor ammo with some assault rifle and multi detonate with shockwave!
Disruptor detonates off everything, so may be better in this scenario, so you don't need to worry about shields.

Just been trying it out - you don't really notice the slight drop in damage reduction and health from the build I had (6/4/6/4/6) ... you DO notice the extra range on Shockwave though (I only had it at 4); it's not as in-yer-face as the build I was using (Wraith or Raider) but it's definitely quite good fun - once you've gotten used to the Kishok. Hadn't used that gun for a very, very long time.

Only thing I might change is moving the passive from 5a (power damage) to 5b (headshots) :)

That's the idea though. Hitting the enemy from afar. Keepin em at bay ot outright killing them. I rolled with the Raider. Love that damn weapon O.o

Not really seeing the point of submission net? I'd mostly want it just for phantoms. Everything else that it works on it going to die to a harrier pretty fast but phantoms dodge it/put a power bubble up 9/10 times I cast it at them...

yeap sounds good by the maths. Not sure if it might just be overkill on the mooks. But will deffinetly help with bosses.

But I just want more power! :D

shoot at the phantom until they do a flip, as soon as they start the animation for the flip, cast the net and bag that biatch.

I was wondering if there was a trick because I went down three times last game trying to just net phantoms...I finally just started shooting them with the harrier and ignoring the net....will that trick net them every time? I just respecced into a 0 net build lol....going top try shockwave/incendiary with AR amps/gear and harrier...

Shockwave incendiary with a harrier is godly....fire explosions everywhere...I just scored 106K entering a game in the middle of round 7...other guy had 116K and 166k....no one had a 75kill medal lol I got a 50 in 4 rounds...

AR HVB and magazine upgrade....shockwave, fire off 36 harrier rounds shockwave again....very tanky on gold as well with shield power cells and maxed fitness and blade armor.....lovee the extra rounds for the harrier too...

Activate Submission Net, and when it's about to release, release the charge on the GPS to stagger her so the Net will hit 100% of the time.

Submission Net is a completely underrated power, it stops all infantry without armor as well as Banshees from teleporting.

Sub Net alone can't make her stop though, you will need to "stagger" her with Force. either from a GPS shot or Shockwave. It works really well as a Banshee controller. She doesn't stop immediately, she will jump 1 more time then stop to throw warp balls.

Shockwave can detonate his Sub Net for Tech Bursts and his Incendiary ammo for Fire Explosions, he's really a great at Crowd Control. Guardians aren't a problem with the GPS because Shockwave can throw a Guardians shield back exposing the Guardian for a GPS shot.

you can skip Blade Armor if you want, for a much better cooldown. :)

Yeah, it was the Scions and Praetorians that were tedious with the Kishok...

There is an unexpected downside though ... to the tune of "we are sailing"

We are whaling,

We are whaling,

Across Vancouver,

To the LZ

It's a good job my mic is set to "push to talk" :)

I unlocked Bsent the other day and have been looking at builds. He seems underwhelming, but maybe there's more going on below the surface. I'd like to take him into gold, but I'm not really sure what to do with him (see the link in my sig for current unlocks). I prefer mid-to-long range combat, but the more I play with shotguns the better I get. I do NOT like melee combat and much prefer playing support over CQC.

*Standing ovation*

This is the first build suggestion thread where someone actually explained HOW they prefer to play as opposed to asking 'what's the best build'. It makes offering suggestions much easier.
