Now I found this humorous because I was using a Talon X.

Pug1 decided I needed to be kicked after the match. I had 15 revives, 75 kills, 50 pistol kills, used two missiles to bail out teammates being instakilled, and did 3/4 of the devices on one wave and pretty much did my part on all other objectives. I was as he put it a score ****** and not a team player.

I used a character I never really used before. Some sort of Quarian engineer or someething. I was told I needed to be ready in a gold lobby as it was a really weak character. Topped the leaderboard by far without using any rockets.

If you wasn't kicked you should have switched classes and put on Avenger X or Geth Pulse rifle X, let the teammates die then make them watch you finish the round as you shoot marshmallows at enemies for 10 minutes....

^So many PUGs with this 'logic'. Never gets old seeing those 'x' marks come up after soloing the objective waves and getting 15+ revives ... why pugs, why? I *want* you to succeed.

 

Anyway, on topic - as has been mentioned 'x character sucks!' and 'where are your missles?! ... DOOM!'

I've been told not the use the Arc Pistol as well.  The best part was that he wanted me to use the Disciple instead, because it's a better pistol, you don't have to aim it, and it is better for shields.  I wish I had a working mic so I could correct him.

 

My favorite overall (I think I mentioned it in another thread?) was a guy who was very confused about why abominations kept blowing up beside him with no-one shooting at them.  Apparently he didn't quite grasp the concept of his Valkyrie's Annihilation Field.

Well, I wanted to do a Batarian Sentinel Platinum solo, but twice it game me troll Targets first on wave 3, then the 2nd attempt wave 10 when I only had 3 missiles. So whatever, I quit.

I don't have the patience to do things over again when it should have been done the first time so...

yea, anyway vent over.

The Batarian Sentinel has all the necessary tools to be effective for his team and for himself.

He can detonate pretty much anything, Biotic Explosions, Tech Bursts, Fire Explosions, etc. In a way he's an all around teamplayer. Submission Net is just amazing vs Phantoms and Banshees. I use the GPS myself, so as I'm releasing the Net I release my shot staggering the Phantom and making Submission Net hit 100% of the time. Submission Net also stacks upon itself so any boss with Shields gets Sub net spam + weapon damage from my CSMG sidearm. As for Banshees, it's stops her from teleporting, you just need to "stagger" her with a GPS shot or Shockwave.

I always use Incendiary ammo because using Disruptor would be redundant, plus Fire Explosions are needed when dealing with a mon of Dragoons & Phantoms. shoot 2 Dragoons and hear that double Fire Explosion. Submission Net can also be a time bomb. Sub Net a Phantom, wait until a dragoon gets near her, then Shockwave for a Tech burst AND Fire Explosion

the only weakness I'd say he has would be Collectors, mainly because of Praetorians and Seeker Swarms/Plagues.

He's a great kit to go on any team, he isn't at all "shitty".

I'd say that he's similar to the Turian Cabal. Great kit all around, but doesn't "excel" at any particular thing.

Are you really talking about "teamplay"? I thought you knew better at this time... Next thing I know, you'll be saying the batsent is not shitty because he's a support character...

And yes, I do know how to play him, and I'm sure you do too... That doesn't mean he's still not abysmal.

And no, the Cabal is just on a whole other level than he is. Not even the next one, but at least two/three up. I mean, super teleport, grenades, shield restoring abilities, turian passives, ability to detonate twice per cooldown... Surely you're joking, right?

But I appreciate the fact that we're at least having a discussion about it.
