Interested in this as well. I hate having to switch disc. I hope it runs smooth if installed. Some games seem to downgrade graphiclly and end up going slower when you install

Usually games that you instal do run better when they are installed. I have never had worse problems with games like steve has. And yes most likely... but not more then one at a time... unless you have multiple playthroughs going on at once. I figure at somepoint you switch disks and thats it you dont come back to disk 1 but until the game is out we wont know for sure.

Easy answer is yes and yes if you have the space

Yeah hopefully there won't be any noticeable reduction in quality. I'd really like to install it, just to make the 360 sound less like a plane taking off.

Why can't you release it on PS3, Bioware? Curse you all! :P

I've got to blow off the inch-thick layer of dust off my 360 because of this!

You know...I couldn't name 5 games that are PS3 Exclusive that I would care to play.

How would that even make sense?  Maybe if you try installing old 360 games from before the 360 had the capability to install, and are not coded/optimized for such things.

Uncharted 2, God of War 3...

Meh.  And multi-plats tend to be least optimized for PS3 giving its convoluted structure.

I forget exactly, but on the other forum, the developers said that Mass Effect 2 takes up, like...12 to 18 GB, and that installing it won't really make much difference as far as load times go.

If you have the space, the sound volume reduction is worth it alone.

Funny. I had a huge dust build up on the PS3 for 3 years. It is only now do I play it occasionally. With Mass Effect 2, I probably won't touch any of th reshashed PS3 exclusives this year. God of War 3 is God of War 2 with better graphics, Gran Turismo is not even on Forza's level, etc...
