Based on what I've been reading, the Qunari agreed to a withdrawal and a ceasefire before they lost control of the war. They weren't in a catastrophic melt-down of their war making ability, but they could see that if the war continued they would likely not come out on top.
Tevinter & Par Vollen, will they make a move soon?

According to WoT it wasnt due to resources that they withdrew, it was the death toll of innocent lives that forced that withdrawal. Assuming that to be correct, wouldnt the opposite be true since it was Thedas that was suffering so badly (to the point of near collapse). From that info, id say the QUnari couldve definitely went on the offense after being dug into rivain

Really?
Yes really. Other then their stupid accent they have nothing worth offering nor anything even remotly interesting about them to make thier existence in DA worth something.

I also don't really buy that the Qunari were too overly concerned with innocent non-converts, that was probably just a saving face attempt.

Stop, you may not like Orlais but they definitely add to the DA setting, thats a ridiculous notion to say they dont only because you personally dont like them. If they dont add anything to the DA setting than neither do any of the other nations. Your opinion doesnt pass as fact

If the Qunari were able to maintain their losses and still be able to turn the tide against Thedas, then I doubt they would have agreed to a ceasefire no matter how many innocents died.
I also don't really buy that the Qunari were too overly concerned with innocent non-converts, that was probably just a saving face attempt.
I do, its part of Qunari teachings, they waste nothing, that includes potential converts to the Qun. They truly want to make the world view the Qun the way they do, you cant do that when people are dead, especially innocent people. Killing a soldier is one thing but civilians is definitely another, Qunari know that

To be honest any nation thats not Tevinter or Anderfels I really don't care about, I just happen to hate Orlais more due to my hatred for religion and dislike of french accents.

I guess since it occurs in Orlais, it wont have anything significant to add to the DA setting...

Yes, let us just forget that Orlais is the most powerful nation in the world, the base of the whole elven rebellion, and the home of the huge Civil War that's setting the world on the edge of its seat. I'm sure they contribute NOTHING to the DA setting. ![]()

Err, a habit? I can't think of anything else, since it's been clear for months, that we won't be getting either Tevinter or Anderfels in DAI.

We have no idea if there even is MP, let alone if it will be based on the Mage-Templar War.
