Doesn't this look like Tevinter design, ya know with the dragons? And general darkness.

Spoiler

My guess is, its an old Tevinter fort that has been occupied by Red Templars

Gaspard and celene both consider the tevinter imperium a dangerous threat. they are not incorrect. the chantry and orlais where the linchpin that held the other nations together in case  of international problem. I dont see the tecinters marching upon orlais unles they gain an alliance with neverra. and i doubt they are goignt o invade a the anders because of the high quality of its soldiers and the fact that its a barren  wasteland. But the free marches is a tempting target now orlais can no longer intervene in case the tevinters invade.

And without orlais to protect them incase the qunuari invade the antivans may look to the tevinters for protection.

Well for par vollen i dont know. Who know what the oversize cows think there.

For the tevinter its does not make much sense to make a move. Ofcourse the will support the mage's in term's supplies and gold, slaves.

It make far more sense for tevinter to open there gates for every mage that willing to come to tevinter and serve. More mages means more power for them.

The one thing that would make Thedas tremble is an un-holy alliance between the Imperium and the Qunari (sort of like The Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact).

There are no difference between combat magic and non-combat magic when it comes to mana. It doesn't matter wether you cast fireballs or heals all day, if your mana (your magic muscle) isn't up to snuff you will get exhausted. Fiona being a Circle Mage would have recieved the exact same education and trainning as any other Circle Mage, which is pretty much the best available magical trainning there is, so if she gets exhausted after casting a few spells, then you can safely assume that this is normal for amges, and not what you see in the games.

There are different ways to use your muscles, to get the most out of them while conserving energy at the same time. Circle is very far from the best magic training, I'm sure that merely being a grey warden gave Fiona better practical experience of using magic. I wonder if Fiona practices magic every day until she exhausts her mana supply and looks for ways to improve her spells.

Probably as likely as Hitler making a pact with Jews

Which is both a wrong definition of rout AND an inaccurate description of the situation during the Qunari Wars...

How can my own personal definition be wrong?

.-. Did you ask for the "accepted" definition at all, if i recall correctly all you did was request clarification if people knew what a "rout" was.

You cant pass off your own definition of a word as being correct, thats not how language works, its not an opinion, You used a word incorrectly and tried to justify it by saying its "your own personal definition" in that case my definition of food is different than everyone else's, that doesnt make it legitimate to go into a restaurant and expect people to understand my own definition of the word. Dont mean to be rude but thats a ridiculous idea

It isn't? If i recall correctly there is no legal statute in place that forces me not to come up with personal musings on words, clarifications, definitions, occasionally new words even but we aren't here to discuss that. You can spew your restrictive garbage all you wish, Ultimately this isn't on topic. Actually you are apparently missed how that conversation went: Here is a series of events. 1.Gives personal musings on Qunari defeat and desire for it to happen again. 2. Several people call me on my view on the lore and i respond. 3. Out of the blue, A random declaration of clarification is requested, I do indeed know what both those definitions are and i express as much, and then i even add in a personal definition.

4. My personal definition is labeled incorrect and inaccurate, of course i didn't discover as much until now but that will be addressed shortly.

5. Here we are, me bothering to actually correct people's ignorance.

Even giving actual exposition, Not merely just calling "wrong." like some people.

I dont get how you're still trying to justify this unnecessary issue. You used a word out of context, so i gave you the actual definition of the word, it should be concluded right then and there. You're getting upset calling my corrections "restrictive garbage" only because i told you the you're using a word out of context.

My point is, you can have any meaning you want for a word, but you cant seriously expect people to know that you're using it out of context therefore why would you try to use it when speaking to someone else who doesnt use your false definition of the word "rout"

This has just become comical, its a thread about tevintar and the Qunari, yet because you decided you cant admit you were wrong in your defintion of a word, we've gone on a ridiculous tangent. Learn how language works, its not a system based on opinions.

Justification? No, I need none, i am entitled to both my own crafting and musings. The right for you to question them, i do infringe so obviously i believe the same for the right to HAVE them. See this is where i normally point out that you cannot speak for my perspective, that you cannot speak for my "context" in this instance but obviously the notion of being an "individual" is wasted on you.

Your point is as empty as your spiel about me magically not being able to craft my own view on things.

You have an odd view of comedy and if that's what you view this as why do you bother with it? and what i would call an "Victory Persona" You seemingly cannot accept that folk have differing views, differing perspectives, a differing context. I do, i actually bother to share it and its labeled inaccurate, in the context of the topic, perhaps. But in so far me being requested to possess clarification? No, and that was what occurred.

Your little speech, doesn't change what occurred and it most certainly doesn't my view. You need to do a better one for both, reality doesn't bend for something that came out of High School debate, nor will my knee.

This is exactly why this has turned comical, i cant tell if you're even being serious anymore but on that last note, ill leave you with this

If i am being honest?

No. And i haven't been since i returned to the thread.

You have no ability to dictate if my definition is correct or incorrect.

Neither does Emperor, I just thought acting mortally offended would prove Humorous and it did.

Never say never. I would be content with - highly unlikely. After all, politics make fine beds.

WIth the way the Qun works, i dont think it allows any alliances. If their allies dont submit to the Qun, then they are not an ally to begin with

Everything is a subject to a change. Original Andraste's teachings weren't the ones we hear today.

We're talking about the Qun, one of the most least flexible teachings ever. It would be great however if our PC had someone influence on the Qun making it more open and adaptable

It wouldnt die if it was the only teaching anyone followed aka the goal of the Qunari. Plus its been around hundreds of years without flexibility, it doesnt need to change to survive
