I'm not a Platinum soloer, but I do use the Acolyte-Justicar a lot.  I agree with the OP - Dragoons are by far the toughest enemy in any faction when using this type of build.  Especially groups of Dragoons.  Reave-Bubble-Reave works very well in theory, but with multiple Dragoons, it's too easy for one of them to stagger you out of the bubble animation, because they don't all whip at the same time.

The one thing I don't understand:  If you're going to carry the Acolyte, why not carry the Hurricane too?  Your cooldown won't really be affected much, and it drastically reduces your TTK on armored enemies.  I see people carrying only the Acolyte all the time, and I just don't get it.  Take the Heavy Barrel off the Acolyte if you need to reduce weight in order to keep the Hurricane equipped.

Hmmm this might motivate me to try the Justicar, but I run a no-pull build with a heavy gun typically.

Probably GPS w/ Warp Ammo would be pretty user friendly even if you don't have massive weapon DPS... you would still have Reave eating things though.

You have too many points in Pull.  The only debatable things are the last evos of Reave.  You are playing thinking you are super leet skipping fitness on Gold but this is Platinum son.  And a class that works differently from others you've been playing

Bubble + dodge.  And can just hose them down with SMG while spamming Reave and dodging

Yeah, that is usually what I end up doing.  Even this doesn't work great though.  If there's 2-3 Dragoons whipping, you have to dodge so frequently you don't have a chance to shoot or Reave.  And then if one of them decides to open up with his gun, there goes your barriers (and maybe your health too).

Yes, the time you have to dodge is of course fps dependent... so if you are out long enough for death lock it is "better" for them to try and melee you rather than shoot.

Stagger weapon tends to make Cerberus "capital" units much less dangerous though. Hence GPS or Venom would make OP's life a lot easier.

A few suggestions.

1)I'll reiterate what Heroic said about setting up choke point death zones for enemies. I also try to stack Reave on them as many times as possible where one BE finishes them or they die shortly after. I did my solo on Giant and had two major avenues of approach on my holding point (just outside the LZ there). Even with a full on offensive bubble you get DR (25%) and it's good to have up to BE a surprise enemy. So I would shoot and Reave stack on the corner of cover inside my bubble then fall back as I either started to get too many enemies or was facing small weapons fire coming from multiple directions. Then as the enemy comes in the bubble is set up to BE them and hopefully finish them off.

2)The Hurricane I feel is a little unnecessary but if you were to use it I would ditch the piercing and put on damage barrel. Warp IV weakens armor mitigation by like 65% and the bubble's warp further weakens by another 25% versus armor. I doubt with 0.65 piercing that any multiple hits would be happening anyways. The extra 25% versus the hardened enemies that make it into the bubble might be better there.

3)I personally look at specific wave and what enemies count for the most against the cap which I can dispose of quickly. Justicar basically wrecks anything without a large shield number fairly quickly but you might want to focus on what depletes the cap quickest.

Have you tried the Falcon? Take the Hurricane for armor, but the Falcon will help you stagger Phantoms and Dragoons while you let Reave eat away at them. It will also give you time to rush in for you to deploy your offensive bubble.

What about Justicar with Venom? Could be pretty good against Cerberus. Sure Atlases take time to kill.

Any kit is good with that weapon but I think Reave stacking can melt Platinum enemies more efficiently over the long run and you can set up BE's a lot more effectively with a shorter CD, bubble is one of those that takes a little advanced planning to setup during a solo. In team games I kamikaze the hell out of stuff but when all aggro is on you even with the extra stagger the bubble might be harder to use and catch stuff in with Reave.

Acolyte makes a goon rolling, just saying. If you do it on white, it's very easy to funnel everything into BS. Acolyte will deal with shields, stagger here and there and kill and Reave, BE will overkill crowds and armour. Really no need for a secondary with my build. Reapers will be easiest, Cerberus is fastest, Collectors is not hard, but annoying with crabbubbles and other shet forcing you out of your spot. Haven't tried Geth with her yet, but should be as easy as Reapers, if not easier. It's really poop easy, just stay inside, if needed kite clockwise. Make them have to walk into the deathzone that is BS.

Everything except atlases melt with venom justicar. Atlases take a bit longer. Primes can be annoying too but there's only one prime wave on cerberus platinum.

I think the Venom is a good choice like some have already suggested. If you don't want to take that hit to your cooldowns though and if you're not tied to the Acolyte then you could try the Scorpion as a main weapon - Phantoms and Dragoons won't be an issue.

Yeah, and some sleep :P I was really tired during the attempt, so I wasn't reacting quickly to everything. Still, wave 1 was over in like a minute. So if I can get past the Dragoon waves, I feel pretty confident that I can do the solo with her.

I 100% believe in you. Learn from your mistakes and keep trying :)
