A couple of queries - I understood that the Imperial Chantry put a different interpretation on Andraste's teaching which justified mages being in charge of affairs and this was what caused the Orlesian Chantry to wage war on them, particularly after the First Enchanter was elected Black Divine.   This would be considered far more of a threat than "questioning" Andraste's holiness since it would encourage all their own Circle mages to question the Templar's authority over them.

Second, where did you get the information that the Chantry founded then Antivan Crows?   (Holy Cr**!)    I'm pretty sure that was never in game as I make a point of reading all the codex.     Surely Zevran would have loved telling Lelianna that little snipet of information since it flies in the face of everything that the Chant of Light teaches.   So please clarify the source.

To be honest is that even accurate?Even alistair backstory about him being recruited by duncan doesn't exactly match how he told us.Not mention that series changed many things since then.

I stand corrected.   Well that's just one more thing I can add to my list of what I would like to bring up the next time some self righteous Chantry person starts going on about mages (or elves).   They've so many skeletons in their closet it wouldn't surprise me if Necromancy didn't begin as one of their ideas too.

I believe Necromancy began in Nevarra somewhere (Not sure at the moment), but who knows if this is really cannon though... Its sort of iffy.

Nevarra has different beliefs about their dead than most Andrastian nations. They entomb the dead, I think the codex on Nevarra discusses the fact that they connect the dead to spirits, so Necromancy may be involved.

Personally I'm looking forward to more information in Inquisition. I'm really curious what the full spec description will say.
