"It's Walters who wrote that and there's an awful drawing!"
"But there's Kasumi."
"But drawing!"
"But Kasumi."
Yeah, I kinda sumed fandom thoughts up.

Shush, Von Uber. I demand more candycoated sweetness in my comics.
...Fer a change, I kind of don't hate it from the preview, and wish I lived someplace that sold comics.

Artwork is meh.
Story will be ultra predictable.
Brooks will be there because reasons.
I'm done expecting good things from Bioware. That being said...
omg omg Kasumi is awesome! Holy **** lololol did you see when she jumped out of the thing and she was all like "whooosh!" and gliding like a badass and she totally had like a full face mask that makes so much more sense than just the breath mask thing in the games and the Keiji noob was all like "I'm not sure about this" and Kasumi's like "bitch please" and pew pew with her wrist thingy and then she lands and it's so awesome she looks like she a cape and...

So many new things I learned. Like that she has a hood. And loves someone! Oooo!

This is one of the few previews of this series that hasn't made me groan. I actually like the parachute/squirrel suit part, I just wish we got to do something like that in game.

Actually the art isn't that bad. Granted, given some of the art we've seen in the comics (Tali's Homeworlds issue immediately springs to mind), that bar isn't as high as it could be.
The blurring of the face mask is a little irritating, though. If you want to keep the top of her face hidden, give her one that covers it, instead of just putting in the blurring effect. Otherwise, it doesn't look that objectionable right now. I'm still not interested in Foundation's rewriting of canon, but this issue doesn't seem objectionable right now.

These are still going? Have they gotten any better?
edit: Hey, when did Kasumi turn into Batman?

Clearly it was before she turned into an obsessive coward. I'd take that skydiving sequence over her ME3 content any day, even Citadel (apart from the casino heist).

I tried so hard to like the ME comics... But I simply can not.
And to know that MW will write me4 only leaves me pessimistic.

Oh right, this one comes out tomorrow. It'll be the first story I have with Kasumi in it (I've only seen her ME2 scenes on youtube), and this does seem to be one of the better volumes in terms of art.
The skydiving scene was cool. Her face-mask looks very similar to Tali's, but I'm just glad they gave her one. ![]()

On what page does Cerberus show up?

On what page does Cerberus show up?
Unless the guy who stole Keiji's memories is from Cerberus (I'm not very familiar with this storyline), then they don't show up at all. No Rasa or Kai Leng. Just a caption at the top of one page that said something like "Cerberus File - Kasumi Goto", and no other mention of them.
My short review:
This issue does have some of the best art out of the Foundation comics, on par with #5-6 (Miranda and Jacob). There was even a beautiful two-page spread showing an overview of Beckenstein just before the skydiving scene. The artwork for Kasumi's cloaking power and those electric batons (not sure what to call them) shown on the cover were also some of my favorites.
^ So, to sum that up without spoilers, it was an interesting story with good action/stunts and an emotional end.

Goddamn it, I knew they'd do something like this. There's a reason it reminded you of that, because they ****** wanted it to. Jesus, after two years and still they push their "art" with typical sledgehammer subtlety.
But what'd I expect? Something new and well-written?

I actually thought the Kasumi/Keiji slide was kind of cool, though I don't totally understand what was meant by it. Maybe someone more familiar with the DLC's plotline would know. Are the memories that Kasumi retrieves, and the picture of Keiji shown in that slide, supposed to be a holographic projection of his memories or an AI created from his memories similar to the Shepalyst?

Not sure why everyone is upset with the art on this. I think it's well done from what I see in the preview. I've found the writing in past ME comics more "meh" than the art.

I agree about the art in #10. The art quality varies in the other issues though, with #3-4 (Ashley and Kaidan) being the low point.
