Repair matrix would be fine if it didn't take grenades from other players.. the ones who actually do damage.

I have quite an opposite opinion. It's one thing for a noob with only 100 hours playtime to not know many things about the game, but when I see a very experienced player, like most BSNers are, I expect his statements to be correct.

I have myself made a few statements that were criticized and later turned out incorrect, or not entirely correct, or only correct within a narrow set of circumstances. I'm learning the game and am not ashamed of making mistakes. As for my statements that seem to assert a fact and do not seem to be a joke, I only make such assertions if I believe them to be true. I believe that AIU has the highest DPS output in the game (with the right weapon). I asked to prove me wrong, no one has attempted that yet. Instead, all you do is try to make me look like a fool (which I sometimes am, I'll admit that).

 

P. S. Thanks for everyone who show me that I'm wrong and improve my knowledge of ME3 MP.

Hm. GI does a tiny bit more damage than AIU without snap freeze. DI does more damage than GI. But AIU with Snap Freeze outscores them both:

IMO AIU without Snap Freeze is the simplest to use, don't need to worry about applying debuff first. Shooting Proxy Mine before firing with GI isn't that hard even for me, but still. Also, AIU dies much less and can play much more boldly. I think in a real game situation she'll have the least trouble implementing her paper DPS. As much as GI is a great hit and run character, AIU excels at it.

I´m rolling Fitness-less GI and fare pretty decent with that,but I think Defense matrix is great equilizer/parachute for newer players.

Missile glitching is cheating so you might as well put that on a list with making javelins full auto and Graal's shooting thresher maws. Incendiary glitch is not cheating as per bioware.

Paper dps with the Reegar is flawed, not all the hits register and it does substantially more damage at higher fps. The Reegar isn't even the GI's best weapon. Your paper comparison doesn't make a point here. If you really want to see the GI in action, watch Heldarion's Plat solos. There are plenty of other people's videos that are great ... his are so simple they are awesome.

The DI has great weapon damage but also has amazing AoE damage which can make him extremely effective with nearly any weapon (I would know). Where he shines is with weapons that don't benefit as much front RoF and accuracy bonuses as much as others. Harrier, Claymore, Arc pistol, etc. Are all amazing on the DI and if you say the Claymore is better on the AIU I would like some proof, I did a Plat solo in under 29 minutes with no rockets on a Claymore DI. All of that and the biggest advantage he has over the AIU is his ability to stagger predictably over a huge area. It might not seem like much but I tend to die a lot less when I can prevent enemies from shooting me.

Nope, I think AIU should only use Reegar. If you want to use any other weapon, there are characters more suited for it. I put Reegar on other builds just to compare DPS. I wouldn't actually play DI or GI with it.

I'm not sure what the point of that is, but my DI Reegar solo is almost 3 minutes faster than the best reported AIU Reegar solo. That could definitely change with the right person but as it stands the DI is currently better with the Reegar. The only advantage you have with the AIU is repair matrix, and you give up a ton of damage to get it.
