Anyone got a favourite brand of cheese? This thread has gotten me hungry.

I'm gonna say Dubliner cheese.

The Trader Joe's near me stocks a rather tasty Italian truffle cheese.

  You do know that Wraith is mostly a caster gun right...? The delay b/w it's shots is the perfect time to cast a power.

I'd like to expand on this to say that a delay between shots is a huge part of being a caster weapon to me.  That is why the claymore, despite its huge weight, can be used well on caster classes.  It is also (part of the reason, along with accuracy) why the hurricane, despite its huge sheet DPS and light weight, isn't a great caster weapon.  A talon or wraith is usually a better choice for casters.

I'd also like to add that even in cqc, for casters I prefer the wraith to the Raider despite the Raider's significantly higher DPS.  The damage per shot is significantly higher once headshots/missed pellets are accounted for, which imo is crucial for caster classes.  In addition, as mentioned, it can be used with no down time in power cycles.  The Raider, with its extremely high RoF, is pretty much impossible to reload hide, making it inferior.

There are many casters where 30% power damage doesn't mean chit.. like all the Warp/Throw kits. The Wraith makes infinitely more sense on them than say.. the CSMG.

..and lets be honest. Unless you're talking about a grenade spammer or a few other kits.. a superior weapon is going to allow for more killing potential than a lighter weapon with the power magnifyer. Wraith X can OSK shielded mooks all day.. there's not a lot of powers that can say the same, save for Dark Sphere, Smash, and some grenades.

Also, this.  Power magnifiers suck.  30% additive damage is barely anything.  Most powers include at least 60% additive damage in the tree (often more), pluse another 30% in the passives and 50% from a power amp, plus whatever other boost you get (eg tech armor, barrier).  That 30% is going to be closer to a 10% boost all told. You get much more mileage out of a weapon mod that improves your weapon performance.

Uh? I have no problem whatsoever hiding its reload... I gotta be lagging seriously if I can't manage it constantly...

Ok, so my understanding of reload hiding is that you must begin the power animation before the refire time of the last shot is up to reload hide.  (E.g. the power animation must be in progress when the automatic reload would begin) At 200 rpm, that gives you .3 seconds after the shot to use the power.

Perhaps your timing is better than mine with respect to timing your power usage and firing the last bullet in the clip.  I often find the last shot fired will not be close enough to the power cool down to do it with any regularity, though saying it is nearly impossible is an exaggeration.

With the Wraith's 48 RPM, the window for a reload hide is much longer, and in my opinion can be done nearly every time.  The shot vs. power usage cycle on the Raider will often leave you with an inconvenient timing where you either have to delay shooting or wait until after the reload to perform it, and is much less reliable.

Ah yes, I understand what you mean now... That's why I love to hide my Raider's reload in my cluster animation (or any grenade's, for that matter)

I can do it easily with an efficiency of around 95% with normal powers too, but only if I'm off CD of course, which is your point.

Because BioWare don't like AIs? Because they figured BotBs had suffered enough?

I don't know, 10 survivals is enough isn't it? STOP MAKING THEM GIVE OUT MORE HOMEWORK!
