The beginning of the movie Up got a tear out of me. That was just emotional sadism.

Also, the Lion King, but I was still a child the first time I saw that.

No, I don't go gallivanting around yelling that I am a brony as that is very immature. And to your other question, only when I was a little kid and had no idea about how the real world works.

You pretty much do when you go into threads that are not MLP and start making posts talking about ponies, thats basically like screaming "I'M A BRONY!" not that it bothers me mind you, I'm just pointing it out.

And if you don't mind me asking... How old are you exactly?

You do realize I didn't start that here at all. You can thank Jordan for that.

Why even ask that when I can say I am 100?

Must be my picture. I'll give you a slight hint.

Most bronys are from 15-25. I am somewhere in the middle of that.

It's not really the picture, or even that your a Brony for that matter.

It's just unusual for someone over 20 to crave attention as much as you do.

I would have guessed 16-17ish.

Lion King - Mufasa's death.

DA:O - The Gauntlet quest

Maferath's dialogue especially "I loved her too. But what man can compare to a god?" the voice actor nails it.

Trian's Ghost (especially if you killed him in the Dwarf Noble origin).

Ending of Bioshock 1 and the ending of walking dead where Clementine puts Lee down. Oh, and the first boss in Dark Souls. That made me criez.

Did you say a prayer before you opened your lunch box or something?

No, got fixated on the number and a bunch of other things. It was just a trigger, I already had the necessary predispositions.

Movies/TV shows I've cried watching.

Gladiator

The Last Samurai

Up

Princess and the Frog (lol i know right)

Pokémon the first movie

Star Trek Nemesis

Dr WHO (David Tennants exit from the show, amazing stuff)

there are probably some more but can't remember them.

Games I've cried whilst playing.

Dragon Age Origins (ultimate sacrifice ending)

Mass Effect 3 (like at at least 5 points throughout that game, my lord it wrecked my soul and tore my heart asunder)

I've gotten teary eyed at games and movies more than I can count (but I'm moved to tears more by music than visuals). But one movie that absolutely devastated me was Grave of the Fireflies. It took two full days for me to stop crying over that one.

Two games that had me openly weeping: The end of Syberia II (I had just lost my Dad to ALS and that ending just pushed me over the edge) and Mass Effect 3. Mordin's death got me and the ending choked me up -- though my reaction to the ending was due more to the music than anything else.

Most people probably desire attention from others to a certain extent.  I know I personally get a little annoyed or feel a bit hurt if certain people in my life don't seem to care how or what I'm doing. I'd say it's more unusual for someone of or around that age to be a fan of My Little Pony.  I wonder if most adult My Little Pony fans are severely lacking social skills and feel unfulfilled with their lives in general.  Sort of like the flat earth society or an anti-mainstream/anti-popculture type group, if you know what I mean?  It empowers them to be different for the sake of being different, even if it means everyone else thinks you are a nut.

Pokémon the first movie

I got a bit choked up in the cinema watching this.  Thankfully, I was able to fight back the tears (was there with my friend, you see). :D

Not to appear overtly insensitive, but I could not get into Cast Away much at all. I had to bite my tongue in the theater while surrounded by weeping film-goers to avoid shouting, "It is only a volleyball!". Sorry.

The original Brian's Song brought that room to tears; the Kleenex was passed around like much like popcorn.

It was a volleyball, yes.

A volleyball that was the only thing he had to talk to to keep some measure of sanity over the 5 years he was on that island.

@ Gravisanimi - Perhaps he should have chosen a tree instead. Then he could have kept chatting with the raft after construction, and maintained his fantasy a little longer....
