My preference in post-2000 superhero movies that I've watched:
> The Dark Knight Rises
Someone else likes that movie? I don't feel so alone, anymore!

Damn Right I'm Amazing!

It had too many logical inconsistencies for me to like it, but I really didn't hate it either. It was at least entertaining.

It was better than the first one i will give it that, but it wont stop me forgetting about it a couple of weeks down the line.
The only Super-Hero movies i really enjoyed though was Batman Begins/Dark knight Rises, Thor, Man of Steel an the first 2 Iron Man, so take what i say with a pinch of salt ![]()

In all honesty, I think the movie they just released about me is better than all those other crusty "Super-Hero" movies.

Logical inconsistencies?
Logical inconsistencies?
Are you trying to be dense?
DKR was entertaining as long as you didn't think about it. It was slickly shot, I'll give it credit for that, as well as the individual performances. But when you start to think about it, it falls apart pretty rapidly.

- Grief over death of parents leads to him taking up the hero gig; but grief over dead semi-girlfriend leads him to quitting.
- Immediately healing from bum knee with magic brace.
- Healing only a couple of weeks from a broken back.
- In Dark Knight people do the right thing under duress; in Dark Knight Rises they do the wrong thing.
- Talia had MANY chances to kill Bruce over the course of the movie. Many easier chances at that.

Never expect a Shakespearean masterpiece story from a superhero movie.
And you're too whiny here.

What a perfectly cliche and lazy response. Obviously, just because it isn't Shakespeare excuses it completely from plot holes and logical inconsistencies.
Too whiny? I'm just trying to fit in here. 90% of this board is whining.
Funny, though, I never realized pointing out facts amounted to whining.

Whoops, I thought you were talking about TASM2, not DKR. I agree with your points
Gotcha.
Back on topic, I don't have much else to say about TASM2 other than I thought it was soulless garbage through and through. At least Raimi's Spider-Man 3 made me laugh in its awfulness (and was likely at least partially Raimi deliberately trolling the studio). TASM2 just bored me to tears.

Hmmm, I disagree, I thought TASM2 was great. What didn't you like about it?

The only inconsistency that annoyed me was the whole "Bane travelling across the world to dump Batman in a prison" one. I shrugged off everything else.

Yeah that did not make much sense to me either. I got the symbolism of the prison and why Bane wanted to put Bruce Wayne in that particular prison but that's a lot of time and effort ( not to mention money ) to go through just to make a point. It also creates the plot hole about how Bruce Wayne managed to get back into Gotham undetected. The only inconsistency that annoyed me was the whole "Bane travelling across the world to dump Batman in a prison" one. I think a fair amount of people are hating on Amazing Spider-Man 2 just because it is somewhat fashionable. I think it was a good thing, it had its fare share of flaws and it could have been better but it was still good. A lot of people either love it or hate it, there doesn't seem to be all that many people that thought it was okay.
A lot of people who like to argue about flaws with the movies usually try and criticize something as if it wasn't explained, but it actually was (it makes me question whether or not they even watched the movie). I havent heard many valid arguments (not poking at you)
This actor defines Spiderman.

The new one is good for Lord of The Rings not Spiderman!

I used to like Tobey, but compared to Andrew's performance in TASM2, Tobey sucks. Andrew brings the wit and sarcasm of Spidey from the comics and TV series that he is most well known for, while Tobey barely even talked when he was in the suit

Firstly, no. If we're going by any and all actors to portray Spider-Man,
This man to me is Spider-man.

But I'm like the one person who liked the MTV Spider-man series, let alone knows NPH played Spidey in it (He also did 616 Spideys voice in Shattered Dimensions).
Also I'm weird and consider NPH, Josh Keaton, and C.D Barnes to be the best Spider-man actors, and they only did VA for the character.
But to defend Garfield,
he has yet to do this.

So in comparison...
NPH is LGBT Spidey TBH LOL FML BBQ S&M

It's funny you say that, because Shakespeare was far more about literary significance than avoiding plot holes.

lol no, I just recently rewatched the 2 old Spider-man movies and the acting in them by the leads was terrible, I don't think I have ever see anyone ham it up on screen like Tobi MC Guire before. Honestly he cries every 5 minutes.
EMO-Loser actors with action side who suit Anakin Skywalker and Spiderman. I say well done. Every actor shouldn't be badass alpha prime to be considered suited for a role.
