I love the physics of the shotguns, I especially love the way the mooks fly around the place, ragdoll-ing across the map.
A charged Venom does make them fly further and higher.

I know that feel. I don't feel the need to play on console at all, but I have even considered buying one just to play with people I am not able to play now. If I wasn't in a bad economic situation, I'd do it

Oh, you wanna talk about headshots now. When it comes to headshotting AND being efficient at mook and boss killing, the wraith and crusader thrash the claymore, destroy it to a pulp and have it for breakfast. 

 

Venom, on the other hand, fills a particular niche and it is arguably the best at it.

Also, as Mega said, variety >>>>>>> having the same playstyle. Just for a change, try something outside of destroyer, lolGI, GT, TSol and TSent, and you'll begin to love this game and the variety it has to offer. Same goes for weapons.
