If they reveal today (I'm doubtful), I'm guessing it will be Solas, but I would be super excited if it was Iron Bull or Sera. I'm doubtful they will reveal Bearded Warden simply because they haven't confirmed him as a companion yet, but it would be an awesome surprise.

Either Solas or Iron Bull, as they seem to be the companions with the most focus on them at the moment, between the PAX panels and the magazine announcements.
We had a Mage last month so I'm leaning towards Iron Bull.

Apparently everyone thought they would stick to a pattern, and announce a new companion on the second to last Friday of every month. Then they would release snippets of info throughout the following week ending with the final bit of info on the last Friday of the month.
I would now guess they are going to wait til the 25th to reveal anything, and then give more tidbits of info throughout the week of the 27th, bleeding into May instead of keeping it within April.

Nah. It's the 25th. If they do it the way they did with Viv, we will get a pic of the featured companion on the 25th and then get some info on the 28th along with another pic, again on the 30th, and then again on the 2nd of May.
Unless of course Follower Friday goes the way of the dev diary.

Why call it follower Friday and not make it something fans can actually schedule and look forward to? Seems dumb to give it a title, instead of just from time to time release info if it is going to be done at random intervals.

I'm not mad about the situation, honestly, but it's just good marketing to communicate clearly with your audience. If they set clear dates, then people that don't spend a ton of time on the forums are more likely to come in and check on the new followers. It's a good way to keep people's interest. If they keep checking in and getting it wrong, people are going to be less likely to bother. It would benefit them to more clearly inform their audience as to what's going on. I mean, it's true that Bioware doesn't "owe" the customer base anything, but the customer base also doesn't "owe" them anything. One clearly needs the other more.
Sorry if I sound like a jerk, it's actually not a big deal to me, personally, but I'm just saying that clear communication benefits them as much as anyone else.
