So I just finished ME3 and after the red wave thingy, Hackett begins his monologue and all is going as it should. Only when it comes to the sacrifices it took to achieve this EDI is nowhere to be seen. I see Legion, Thane, Mordin and that's it.
Now I'm not saying she survived as she didn't came out of Normandy after it crashed but it seems weird she wouldn't be in EC Hackett's speech, its the first time I've seen it happening in any of my playthrough. Did it happened for anyone else as well?
Hmm, I don't think she was there either, gosh I don't exactly remember now who was it apart from Anderson & Liara, but I think I'm sure EDI wasn't there.
I've had the robot in the middle flashback in some playthroughs and seen it when the sacrifices are mentioned in other playthroughs
She typically appears for me in the middle flashback of shooting the pipe. An acceptable loss, easily.

I wonder if that has got something to do with how you interact with her throughout ME3, dunno if that matters.

It just took me a minute to realize to know what a grave error it was to run through to the beam in the middle in my first run.. Though that was majorly due to my mind being dazed because of the deus ex machina, that played a small part too. It has always been that big red button for me in the subsequent playthroughs.

If Liara is killed on the beam run, Wrex is shot on the Citadel, Thane dies in ME3, or Ashley/Kaidan shot during the coup or killed during the beam run one of them will show up in the middle flashback. If all die in the same playthrough, LIara will always be in the middle flashback unless she's a LI in which she will be in the third flashback. If Thane is the only one to die, he will sometimes show up in the flashback otherwise its edi most of the time.
I can guarantee you that, flashback or no, her name will be on the wall in the memorial scene. So, you know, there's that.
