I have the same problem. They should fix this issue if they want people to purchase the addons

Same problem. Apparently, if you make a paypal account with the card it should work. But it shouldn't be like that.

Exactly. The card is working fine with other companies, but the bioware site won't recognise it. 'Tis really annoying.

Yep, samed damned problem here too. Use the card fine everywhere else, like Amazon, and my husband has had no trouble using it other places.
Indeed, Bioware should do something about it.

I'm glad my CC couldn't be verified now that I see RTO isn't even available (which is why I was trying to buy points). I guess sometimes screwups are a good thing.

This is still a problem. I am unable to buy Bioware points using a known good credit card. The site says it is unable to verify the card. It states that the billing address needs to be entered exactly as it is on my billing statement. It is entered exactly the same. Still doesn't work.

Is it possible to buy points if you running a UK version of the game in another (EU) country?

This is why I prefer using paypal over my creditcard for these kinds of purchases. With a creditcard you're completely dependant on how good the seller's billing system is at handling your specific type of creditcard, which in EA/Bioware's case seems to be...not so good.
I'm in the Netherlands with a UK retail version, and I bought Bioware points to unlock Warden's Keep. There's no problem with country-restrictions on the Bioware points, at least not within Europe.

How long has this been going on? Cause I have the same problem even with all the information put in correctly.
