I have always just absolutely abhorred Alistair, Jowan, and Anders

while loving Morrigan, Leliana, and Isabela.

there are plenty of characters to talk about..likes - dislikes...romance options,

how they do in a firefight(haha Wrex)  etc

when I play DAO, I keep Morrigan and Leliana in my groupno matter what type of character I am using..

They dominate in damage and support, so it is rare that I ever get defeated

I am with there there Kammie on Abhorring Alistair and Anders. I have have always loved Leliana and Merrill.

In DA:O one of my favorite characters to have in a fire fight was and still is Sten. I always liked him.

Oh and I also very much dislike Zevran and Fenris.

Bella was great fun to have around combined with a lot of characters. Sometimes just changed the group, walking around town to hear all the possible conversations depending on group formation. Gave me laughs more than once.

DOA was more serious when it came to conversations. Even though I liked the ones in DA2, it was too much at times. Humor is great but as with most things that have 'too' in front of it....

Morrigan was my fave in DOA in a lot of party banter. Leliana the sweet counterpart :P.

I love the mods, that allow me to romance Morrigan in DAO and Ashley in Mass Effect

(I love my woman to take charge   lol)

Morrigan does have the best banter, I get a kick out of she and the dog.

I really hope that in DAI she keeps her wit and strong will

In DA:O my normal group consists of me (normaly as a rogue, but on occasion a mage), Leliana, Morrigan and Winne. I never use Alistair or Zevran. on rare occasions I will take either Shale or Sten just to get a laugh from their strange sense of humor.

I never used mods for any game....do want to do a new playthrough of DOA with some mods added but will do so once I learned more about implication of them and how to keep my game from crashing when using them. Which is my biggest fear about using them.

Shale was a great character. The DLC was the reason for me signing up on BSN in the first place ^_^ . Already I did several playthroughs of DAO before starting a new one with her added.

I use the same mods in DA:O as what Kammie listed also Sjpelke, and have never had any problems to date with crashes or anything.

I don't actually hate/dislike any of the characters I can say, I enjoy them all. The only mods I use for DAO is skip the fade cause damn I hated that **** by the tenth play through. Oh and a couple armor ones and what I use for both games is the DA save game editor which is handy for fixing any glitches or minor annoyances. Hope it can be used for the next one or the author comes out of hiding for a new version :(

I think I would of like it if it didn't play havoc on my eyes and be so tedious. By the end of it I always want to throw up and it's been the same in other games with any on going special effects ><

the effects never bothered my eyes it is just that the quest itself became a burden to sludge

my way though.  It seemed it would never end

Yep and as old as the game is she and Sky are bi, so they were on the right track way back then and they are not minor characters

2005. Steam sells a special edition (though you can get that ed on disc). Totally worth it and yes strong RPG, it does make you think as you choose closed fist or open palm - will not say good/evil as it's not really and that is what makes you er some times in this game.
