This is one of those really minor details that has no real impact on the game, but I'm in the mood to discuss it anyway.  B)

In DA:O it was implied that Leliana cut her hair short when she joined the Chantry (Marjolaine pokes fun at it), presumably to help conceal her identity and to conform with the rest of the Chantry nuns. But since she is no longer a nun, should she be keeping the nun haircut?

I suppose with ten years or so passing I'm hoping she'll look somewhat different than she did in DA:O, similar to how Morrigan now looks slightly different.

A topic of great importance! Somebody please sticky this!  B)

I think her hair is lovely as it is, but I would love to see her with longer hair as well!

She can have whatever length hair she wants to have. She'd still look fab.

I'm guessing she'll look the same as she does at the end of DA2. Depending on how much time passes between then and DAI, of course. If it's only 6 months, I wouldn't expect it to have grown that much.

Besides, her hair is part of her unique look. I'd be surprised if BW changed it.

Long hair has this issue of being easily grabbable unless you go and tie it up in a bun. It's also a pain in the bum to take care of.  For astectics I can't picture her looking very good with long hair, the shorter hair frames her face nicely.

...Then again everyone has like, short hair that only goes to your shoulders. Considering the war time and fighting, seems like long hair would be a luxury only for the nobility who have that time to take the time.

I think she will shave it just like Jack.

Heh.

I think between Solas, Vivienne, and the Iron Bull the Inquisition has filled its quota for bald people.  B)

I agree that she does look good with short hair. I suppose by longer hair I just meant longer than it was in DA:O, which doesn't necessarily have to be long. Shoulder-length would be longer as well, for example.

I was thinking something more along the lines of this, from one of the player created alternate appearance mods for DA:O:

Nothing to do with hair but I've never understood why she's wearing a collar.

I always liked that they paid attention to this detail in Leliana's Song by having her with a long ponytail.

Shorter hair is fine for Leliana, honestly; it makes sense for people who're going to be fighting in close-quarters to not have hair long enough to grab.

If Leliana gets long hair and my female Inquisitor doesn't, I will be pissed.

Nothing annoys me more than female NPC's getting to have all the cool hair while we're stuck with short hair and ponytails.

you prefer morrigan as a character just because she has long hair?

She can keep it short or she can have it long. Nothing beats a goodlooking redhead that can sing and kicks butt.

I like it short, but I hope they do something more with it. I understand why it look how it did in Origins, but for a character like Leliana I would expect something that looks more stylish, while remaining practical. But whatever they decide to do I'm just glad we'll get to see her again (hopefully).

I really think the short hair fits her cute-ish personality... but I wont freak out if its longer as long as her braid is still there.

She had short hair in Asunder.

So she's probably not changing it.
