To have control over someone you need take freedom that person more control you have less freedom they have. And current systam failed because it was to lax and templar couldn't control mages as they were more and more corrupted without their knowledge.Making system even more lax will be tragedy not only on abomnation ground but also on mages corruption ground.

 

 

Well thats what i said but phylacteries are rather safe and controled by authorities well if mages tower can be safe from torn veil as magic weakens the veil.

I have to just say that my opinion is based on my personal beliefs. Could i ever take the rights away from a group of people based on them being different and not based on them actually hurt another? I just can't. I hated what they did to the mages and i don't even like most of them. 

 

i just feel that everyone should be able to have a family. I also believe the current system made people ashamed of themselves. The more a person feels badly about their life the more likely they will do something destructive.

I don't agree. I believe in empowerment of the individual. Giving a person a reason to live a better and stable life as in give them the right to have a family with children. They are less likely to want to be an abomination if they have kids to take care of.

Well it is universal truth about humans (peoples) so well just brutal truth and as i said my personal preferences about mages hardly matter as i said they are danger so wether i like walking nuke or not (individual) if he is danger equal to mages such individual have to eliminated.

Again, I ask you not to use "walking nuke" as a comparison for mages since it is the epitome of hyperbole. No mage in the history of Thedas, not even the abomination ones, has been able to wipe out tens of thousands of people in an instant.

I don't think you understand human nature. The most important thing to parents is their kids. Grace would endanger this and therefore they will turn on her. Remember what I said:

As for my writes it not just on paper. It can't be taken away without the destruction of our Bill of Rights. The authorities can't rewrite the Constitution. That is protected by the Supreme Court.

The police don't do that. Our elected rep. do and they all have to vote on it. The word authorities I took for police. The Supreme Court has the final say. Example: There was a law in the South that said prisoners could be nurtured.  The Supreme Court over-ruled it.

Unfortunately I do believe history will repeat themselves. I don't think it'll be as bad as tevinter imperium, but I can see mages being the ruling class.

Unless templar training becomes commom place (doubt it due to lyrium beimg expensive) then mages will rule.
