Yup, blue was even in glorious four tone sepia!
I kinda meant a jump in terms of having a clue what I'm doing.
EDIT: WTF is that monstrosity Ribosome?
*sigh* I feel old now.
I would say quite a jump cause there were several new types added in over the generations and the factoring in of dual types even more so than in gen 1. Like for example Dragonite, still vulnerable as s*** to ice (gets a initial x4 but if you factor in if the pokemon using the move is ice based, then the multiplier is even higher), he's also vulnerable to rock but electricity does normal damage cause flying is vulnerable to electric moves while dragon is resistant therefore rendering the damage neutral. Then there's the effect of held items, abilities, and now mega evolutions (this was added in on the current gen). With the current gen there is an added type. Fairy which is super effective against dragon types and added a new evolution to Eevee thanks to that type. As of now Eevee has 8 different evolutions.
