Where did it say it was at night time cuz it looks like it was in broad day light in my game iirc or maybe I have to change my vid settings.
It is early night. It was a bright full moon.

I like how this thread basically turned into a semi-Anders hate thread. That guy still sparks quite a lot of negative feelings even this much later ![]()

Destroying a building with innocent people inside will do that.
But if you killed him its not possible for Justice to return becouse it will be draged to Fade along with his soul(becouse thats how it works with all abominations)
So did you not notice those gaping holes being torn in reality that's allowing creatures from the Fade to enter the physical world?

Understandable but it's not really relevant to the topic of the thread. I just find it funny that it devolved into that so quickly!

I'm actually surprised it took so long.
Sorry if I gave you that impression cuz I love anders in awakening, just not in da2. His changes made me pretty sad specially when I could finally romance him there.
A common sentiment and there's nothing wrong with disliking Anders! I just noticed that we've strayed off topic a bit.
It is hard to bring him back when so many people killed him. Personally, I wouldn't want to deal with him again.

Hm? Hard why? Flags are for these things, no? It was said somewhere that he will stay dead if he was killed in da2, I think. Personally, it would be nice to see him, unless he got plot-knife'd... and ridiculous if he survived that too.

He wasn't a very popular character according to some gaming mag. I really don't care. The flags do work for this. Leliana however can survive the flags. Do I think he got the plot knife? I think there is a chance of this. Many players were completely annoyed with him. Seriously, I have no problem with them handling him with a flag.
What duckley said on the first page. For the love of all that's holy leave him out of this game. I know they will probably mention and him and quite heavily but the character assassination on him must end. At least in my mind.

if you don't like him there are other people who actually DO .So if you couldnt understand the means of his act , or he's just not your cup of tea , there many people who love him a lot and understand his tormented personality caused by justice whispers so no, I HOPE HE WILL BE BACK AS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER even if i'll have to restart a romance from th start !!
god but he's just one of the most well written character i've seen !! he just need more .

Well, I'm afraid to break it to you, but he won't. The companions and advisors has been revealed and Anders is not one of them. Let him stay with your Hawke or rest in peace. And hey, take it easier.

ha , oh am taking it easy dont worry , i just speak my mind , and in the end ,if he not happen to be in the next game ,well that just Too Bad . losing an all too great character thats all ! at least i gave him the ending he deserve (l)
Destroying a building with innocent people inside will do that.
Lol,the building is next to empty (and quests like Evelina's prove that the Chantry didn't care about people in need so it's pretty unlikely there are any in there) and nobody deserved to die more than Elthina did. She stood by and watched as Chantry law was violated and mages were abused and illegally made tranquil because 'the time wasn't right'.
As for Anders: there'll undoubtedly be mention of him. And bringing him back for a cameo would make more sense than basically anyone else (especially given that BW said something about not wanting to do 'meaningless cameos' anymore and he has a real tie to the fate of Thedas. However he is also hated by quite a few people and since DA3 so far seems to be the 'fanservice game' (bringing back DA's Liara, bringing back Cullen and making him a romance, letting you apparently ride Hallas....)...
Also being able to kill him probably means that any potential quest/meeting that involved him in DA3 would probably need to have no or only a very small impact so that people who killed him don't miss out on anything.
I would hope so, but I doubt it.
I would hope so, too
Why?
Because I am still conflicted about him...he did the "wrong" (I am not sure, because IMO he killed a very ineffective Grand-Cleric who deserved it and gave the mages something to rally around, after all the injustice they suffered - on the other hand: innocent people died at the chantry, too!) thing for the right reasons (freedom is IMO alsways a worthy cause, even more if most of the imprisoned (circles are a prisons!) people have done nothing wrong (they were just born mages!))
greetings LAX
Maybe he and Hawke ended up taking a leadership position of the mages where they happened to be at a certain conference....

Then mages are totally screwed ![]()

Did it have people inside?: Yes
Were they innocent?: Yes
Your bias does not negate my point.

There will be no returning Anders in any my playthroughs. My Inquisitor did recieve a letter from the Warden and Hawke. They would like the Inquisitor relay a message to Justice though should he come across him while in the Fade. ![]()
I'm a big fan of Anders and always went rivalry in DA2. That way you could spare his life and still side with the templars.
Unless he fled to parts of the world not playable in DAI, I can't see him making a return other than references in dialogue.

Who do you think was in there?
Where's your prove that there where people other than Elthina in it? It's night. We've been to the Chantry at night and have not seen anyone there. And you can call it bias all you want but people in the game flat out tell us that the Chantry doesn't take people in.

Before the chantry blows up, it shows the people inside reacting to it. There are several people besides Elthina in there.
