So I was able to pull in the N7 armor from ME2 into ME3, see below, and this got me thinking.  I would like to build off of the projects that some others have done here.  Namely putting the original armors from ME2 into ME3 and giving the user the ability to select them.  As you guys know a lot of the original armors are in ME2 however they look like crap.  So I am looking to gauge the interest as well as people who are willing to update the textures so they look as good as the rest of the armors that Ottemis and Smarteck and others have done here.  Also the work of the initial armor resources that were posted here http://elemods.blogs...-files-for.html should be mentioned as well.

So here is the proposal, I am willing to create a BIOG_HMM_ARM_SHP_R.pcc and BIOG_HMF_ARM_SHP_R.pcc using the cloning  method outlined by ashely66444 and updated by me here

http://me3explorer.f...ning-t1100.html.

This will add at least one of each type of armor as well as TPFTools versions of the other armor so that we can use all the original armors available in ME2 in ME3.  The armors will have there own slots so if you have a particular armor you want to be the default you will only have to change the textures.  Also if possible I will use try to make it so there will be texmod versions available as well so that if you want to change to others you can do so on the fly using texmod.  However I only want to do it if someone who has good skill at making High Def textures will update the graphics, cause as it stands now they don't look good enough.

I have been working to figure out ashleys method of cloning stuff for about a week and I have it down pretty well, however it takes me days to just do one texture so I am looking for someone who has that skill so we can pull our talents and create a nice mode.  My feeling is when it is done you should be able to just drop your PCC files into ME3 run the TOCbinUpdater and then pick which armors you like and run the TPFTools and you will have a few new armors that are readily selectable.  Then if possible you can use Texmod to change the frames to other armors.

Would you guys be interested in this?  Anyone with skill what to do the texture part?

OK I have not added some  male armors.  These were taken from the MP armors which I edited and was able to add to the PCC, here take a look.

However as you can see they don't look right because they need to be textured correctly.  I am in the process of seeing if I can fix this in a different way which I have some ideas about.  We will see.  However if not I am going to need someone to help me do the textures, I don't currently have high enough skill, or the tools to make them look as good as they should.  A lot of this has been done by GoldenSkans9, Smarteck and others assuming we can get permission to use there work.  Most of what would be needed to do would be to try to put some color on the armors and then do the special dds.  No matter what the older armors would be needed to be updated completely, once done however they will be able to use in ME2 which is a bonus.

Anyone interested in helping me with the graphics?

OK so prof of concept.  I was able to set up the MP armor's to work with the tinting system of the armor selection screen.  You can now set there color, pattern and shine.  I haven't figured out the lights yet, but that is coming.

So anyway this works fine with the MP armors who's textures were built for this functionality but conceivably we could also do this with any armor.  All you need is a tint, and stack texture.  Meaning if someone wanted to set up the inferno armor to have different tints with some texture work you could do it.  I think this opens a whole new level to tex-modding.  I think these MP armors need to be a little darker, I think this can be done by changing the Spec texture, I know Smarkteck was able to do it.  I may look into that, but for now I think it looks pretty cool.

Now I'm going to move forward with setting up both a male and female PCC files.

**Still looking for a Texture artist to help me though :)
