I'm extremely excited for Vivienne, she seems super awesome. She probably won't be a romance but I can't wait to try and have a go at her, only to be utterly crushed by her. She will also fit my pro circle mage's views perfectly so they will be super BFFs.


Also Cullen in any shape or form

My impression on characters based on the info we have so far

Vivienne: Marvelous. Love her look (ridiculous and beautiful at the same time ), and her sassy, bossy personality. Bet we will have bunch of awesome banter with her around. Wish we could romance her but it seems very unlikely.

 

Cassandra: Great. Strong, serious and beautiful. I'm looking forward to get to know more about her. Probably will be my first inquisitor's romance. Gonna be interesting seeing her soft side

 

Varric: Best bro. He was and will always be DA's awesomest bro one can hope for

 

Solas: Don't like his look. Don't know about his personality though. But I sure hope he's not a LI. Feel like such a waste opportunity to me.

 

Cullen: Meh. Neither like nor hate him.

 

Warden: Magnificent beard!! I'm hoping he will be one of possible LI. We have so many pretty boys already, time for the good old big, strong, manly man  

Iron Bull, Sera, DHMG .... : Too little info to tell. Hope they will throw us some bones soon

Varric - muggle.
Vivienne - I think I am going to like her. She is a rather unique mage that achieved much while being under the chantry. Hopefully she doesn't believe in the chantry teachings and cares only for her success.
Sera - muggle.
Iron bull - muggle.
Solas - no idea what he really stands for but it seems like he will be a rather experienced fellow when it comes to magic lore and the fade.
Warden - muggle.

Not really sure about the others.

I have to say that I am a little disappointed so far with companions we know will be in the game apart for Cassandra but will wait until I play the game before deciding.

I hope we have some normal companions in the game that we can communicate with.

Varric:  If he turns into a da2 anders, forget about it... but if not, then yay, med to high play time

Cassandra:  Im always up for a tough hot chick with short hair, high play time

Vivene:  The horns on her outfit just dont do it for me, very little play time depending on other mages

Iron Bull: Interesting, but it all depends on the personality... if hes like sten then i can leave him...  Med play time

Solas:  The only thing that could save him would be his personality, least favorite in terms of looks...  little play time

Sera:  I usually have one rogue in the party and if varric is the same, then she kind of gets booted out...  med play time

Cullen:  99% sure he wont be a companion, plus hes going to die in the opening cutscene any way...  0 play time cause im burning my console if hes a companion

DHMG or dorian:  Probably the main mage i play in my party, from looks, he gets a B...  personality would have to break it...  Med to high play time

Grey Warden:  Like the look, personality and story will make the difference if he is to usurp cassandra as my main tank...  Med to Possible High play time
