Can't find this info here ( if there was answer then sorry), but can someone please tell me, if game will force me to take certain companions on certain mission, or I will be free to take to team those NPCs who I want to have, as it was ( well except Virmire) in ME1?

Maybe the loyalty missions force you (as with wrex and garrus) for all others you'll almost certainly have the free choice.

Actually, neither of those in ME1 require you to have said squadmate with you...I did Wrex's w/o him in the squad as I also did Garrus' w/o him in the squad.  Albiet Garrus got pissed when he found out I killed Heart w/o having him along lol.

not sure about Garrus but you didn't have to bring Wrex for his mission.

i'd assume in ME2 that not being able to pick your entire will be the exception, as it was in the first.

Well, previously I found Wrex's armor by accident before ever getting his personal quest because I tend to do everything in each system/cluster/whatever at one time, but that was more like one of those weird unanticipated events. I'm sure that the ME2 loyalty/personal quests can't accidentally be completed like that though. Loyalty quests aside, I imagine that you will largely be free to take whomever you want with you.

Again, see my comment...I am 100% sure you DONT have to bring Garrus along...Ive done it on more than one occassion. Garrus throws a "tiny" tantrum about it.

Thank You all for answer. Hope that it will work similar to ME1. About Garrus and Wrex we don't have to take them with us for theirs personal quests. Also in game, if You i.e have Liara before Noveria, one of yours team mates will suggest You to take her ( after talk with Parasini), but even then we don't have to do that.

If any time, it would be during Loyalty missions. Otherwise, that's the point of the dossier missions - to have available the characters you want while you do other things :) Of course, Omega seems to be the place to go first, but they don't force you (*ahem* Garrus, Mordin, AND Zaleed are there, so come on, its like Liara's world).

There are no ally achievements anymore, so I plan on taking the each squadmate for their own loyalty mission. I know you can choose to not bring Garrus and Wrex, but in Dragon Age, you could NOT choose to leave squadmates behind for their personal quests. You need Alistair to go see Goldanna, you need Leliana to go to Marjorlaine, and with Wynne, the dialogue to ask about Anerin will not even appear unless she's with you. To me this is better, lending a more personal air to the personal quests.

I get the feeling there will be certain locations where you can't take Legion....but I could be wrong. Still, Legion wallking around the Citadell should be a negatory (IMO).
