Here is my ratings so far . . .

 

Cassandra - She is very butch compared to DA2 and thats kinda hot, her black cropped fringe and dark eyeliner really give her this cool goth like ragged war goddess look. I give her a 6

 

Varric - He looks way hotter compared to DA2 , good job bioware designer peeps, The lighter hair also suits his complexion more. I give him a 7 because he is short and I never really felt moved  by him.

 

Iron Bull - The captain hook muscle thing is totally working for him I give him an 8.

 

Viviene - I love her skin texture and even though he is bald the hats are working for him, I give her a 8 cause her wardrobe is awesome!

 

Cullen (LI) - He is a 10 for sure, he is like Alistair but better and not fat love his character and hope he gets some new armor cause the templar armor is cool but he needs some flare.

 

edit: forgot the bald elf and blonde elf, the bald guy looks like  nicholas cage dressed in tight cargo pants so i guess some like that but he needs a wig, so 4 maybe higher if he is cool, The bland elf is pretty basic like her armor though, I will give her a 5.

I don't really find any of them attractive at all. The men are all so chunky, except Solas, who is bald. Cullen might've been acceptable, but his personality so far has been a complete turn-off.

So I guess you give them 1's, I am not very attracted aswell except for cullen unless they make him fat like alistair.

Oh well hope they have good personalities.

Is being attractive really what makes a good LI? or is it their personality and story arc? I feel its the latter.

 

Attractiveness is subjective anyway. I thought Isabela was attractive in DA:2 but there are tons of mods out there that make her white   

 

I hate that these sorts of lists exist for people in real life and if we want people to stop rating real life people then we shouldn't be doing the same to companions in a game.

Not going to indulge in any rating as I don't think this is something that's numerically quantifiable, but I will say that Cassandra is, in my opinion, the most attractive one.

 

Vivienne's a beautiful woman but her personality is a complete turn off for me. Can't really say anything on Sera as the one picture we have of her has her face distorted in a laugh and the in game screens have been at a distance. And even then, I have a feeling that her personality is going to be too "bratty little sister" for me to find attractive.

Tseehee, this thread sounds fun. I'll give my rating as well - I'm only judging the characters' appearance btw. if I understood it correctly that's what we're supposed to do in this thread, right? ^^

 

So, ladies first:

 

Cassandra: 6/10 - she looks very cool and I like her appearance a lot, but I wouldn't necessarily consider her "hot".

Vivienne: 9/10 - I love her face and her extravagant wardrobe, she's the most beautiful woman I've seen in any Dragon Age game so far.

Sera: 5/10 - We haven't seen her ingame yet, so al I can say is, that I like her concept art and think she looks very interesting, but not the most attractive

Scribe Girl (aka Scribbles): 8/10 - only concept art again, but I like her looks

 

Now for the guys:

 

Cullen: 6/10 - he looks good, I guess, but compared to others he just comes across as a little boring to me - appearance-wise.

Varric: 8/10 - He's the most handsome dwarf ever, has the most awesome chest hair ever and he knows how to Dress. I love him, the only issue I have with his new model is his dark hair colour. I really liked him with blonde hair...

Iron Bull: 9/10 - He's huge, muscular, has giant horns, scars and handsome stubble - he's looks rugged, manly, strong... dayum!

Solas: 6/10 - I like that he's bald, it makes him look unique and rather interesting... his face and clothes are rather mediocre looking though.

Bearded Warden: 9/10 - Muscular older guy with an awesome beard and an overall look that simply screams awesomeness (judging by his concept art) - Want!

DHMG: 8/10 - Dat 'stache... I like it.

Throwing my 2 cents in, I'm not a huge fan of digital booty. Romances are Xbox achievements to me so whichever one is written the best I'll go for.

I'm not very attracted to the concepts so far, just judging the males since I'm not into women. They're mostly all older than I like, except Solas, and I don't like bald at all. I wish there was a 20-25 year old pretty boy in the mix. I like LIs closer to my own age.

 

The one that appeals to me the most if DHMG, though.

I probably wouldn't consider any of them hot. Maybe Sera, but since I've mostly just seen her in concept art its hard to form an opinion.  Her in game appearance will most likely be slightly different.

 

Vivienne is bald, which really isn't my thing. And Cassandra, while I thought she looked good in Dawn of the Seeker, is a bit too butch for my tastes in DA:I.

 

I don't really see that as being too big of a deal, though. I'm more concerned with whether the potential LIs are interesting. Attractive is good of course, but less important than how they are written and voice acted.
