Late to the very amusing party, but here we go.
Cassandra: 10/10 would adventure with.Any woman capable of bench-pressing cattle and rassling dragons isA+ in my books.

Vivienne: 6/10 too fancy, blah blah blah Margaret thatcher, has caused entirely too much RL drama. Kickass Mage hijinks may push to a 7-8.

Varric: didn't know turians were Buddhists, cuz it looks like Turian heaven is thedas. 10/10 would shoot bottles with. Dat chest hair.

Solas: 8/10 possibility of "normal" elf companion that is a dreamer. Looks like Nicholas cage, would bang(in secondary playthrough).

Sera: self-centered bratty elf rogue with an apparent fondness for dirty jokes....8/10 would adventure with

Iron bull: 10/10 subversion of everything qunari, fondness for giant fu*koff swords, "iron bull" "inquisitor" "iron bull" "inquisitor"

Cullen:6/10 likely NPC as palatable as sawdust. However great chances for growth and change, could become 8-9

Cole: 9/10 Would mercy kill with. Complete unknown with the opportunity to learn more...intriguing. Cross between legion(complete lack of understanding o many human social constructs/niceties) and grunt(you may* shape and influence him during formative years.

Feathers the warden: 10/10 would listen to old war stories over many tankards of ale. Also, beard, brawny, no obvious concerns outside of dark spawn and inquisition is a massive positive in my books.

Edit: Balls didn't realize was on attractiveness, ummm 10's across th board except for Cullen and sera. They get 5's. Cole gets vetoed...,and somehow invisilurks In the background.

Bianca: 11

Straight female here, so I'm not the best judge of the girls, but I'll try based on their facial features and clothes.

 

Cassandra: 7/10. Practical armor is nice, and her face was like Jack's in DAII--large features, the sort you should have short hair to draw attention to. I haven't seen any up-to-date, clear shots of her face in the new art style, so I have to go by the trailer, which...wasn't that great, so she loses points for that. Her personality sounds great, too.

 

Vivienne: 8/10. Like Cass, she has big, soft facial features and short/no hair to draw the eye to it. Her clothing is very nice, though those hats are hideous. Personality-wise, I'll either love her or hate her, not sure which.

 

Sera: 5/10. Given how we only have one shot of her face in concept art, and how it's twisted by a laugh, she has a disadvantage. I like her clothes, though, and her personality sounds fun, she just has an "average" score because...well, we haven't seen her in-game.

 

For the guys:

 

Varric: 9/10. I swear he got even better from the last game. His new hair color suits him, his new clothes are great, his chest hair is as beautifully rendered as ever, and he's still a cool bro. The only reason he doesn't get a perfect 10 is because of his shortness and dedication to Bianca.

 

Cullen: 7/10. Not bad looking, but he just doesn't do it for me. Everyone looked pretty bad in Origins without mods, and in II he looked pretty old and worn-out. He's gotten better, but the gauntness of his features is still hanging around. Personality wise, he doesn't seem anything special TO ME, either.

 

Iron Bull: 10/10. Tall, muscular, scarred, shirtless, and apparently a humorous, fun-loving guy. Yes please.

 

Solas: 5/10. Like Cullen, I'm going off of concept art, since, you know, no clear in-game shots. And in his concept art he looked pretty old, and not in the "aged well" category. The baldness is an interesting new twist, and I don't really mind it, but his clothes are pretty bad and we know nothing of his personality.

 

DHMG: 8/10. I like his clothes, and I like his apparent "flair for the dramatic". I don't, however, like his mustache. Flame me if you want, but mustaches just don't do it for me in real-life and they don't do it for me in games, either.

 

Grey Warden: 7/10. Too little to go on, but I like the speculation we've heard (about him leaving out of disgust at the First Warden), and, unlike Solas, he falls in the "aged well" category. Blue is a really good color on him, so points for that, too.

I'm a bit disappointed with character designs for DA:I so far, granted not all have been fully revealed, but as it stands DA:O still had the most attractive selection.

I'm just hoping that one of the characters that hasn't been revealed is more visually pleasing than what has been shown thus far, I really don't want to have to be forced to stick with one LI every playthrough, as was the case in DA2, where you either hook up with a cute elf or a ******.

I always took him saying "the greatest danger the recruits face is falling asleep" as an awkward attempt at making a joke.

I don't get the Cole attraction at all. 

 

To my knowledge there's no official artwork or images of him, his description in the books seemed rather plain, and he has the mentality of a child.

 

What is there to be attracted to, here?

No no.  Merrill was naive and such, but not truly a child.  Contrary to her body type, she was older just naive.  Otherwise, she would have become an abomination years ago.  Cole is much more like a 11-12 year old boy mentally, or at least throughout Asunder.  He really is that child-like.

 

As far as the topic goes, too many have only been shown in pre-Alpha or in concept art.  It's way too early for me to judge.  Physically, I'd need to see them in game and their personality will make a huge difference for me.  The only one I'm certain of is Varric.  10/10, would want to try to romance again.  That laugh, that hair, those eyes...

 

Also, 10/10 for friendship; if I can't have him as LI I'm just glad to have the character back.

Cassandra - A 7. Not much to go off of with her personality, but she's certainly in shape.

Varric - 8. He's a dwarven Tyrion. If my barn door swung that way, I'd go for it.

Iron Bull - 8.5, the same answer as cassandra(though we've had more experience with her)

Viviene - 8.5, The developers somehow combined Storm and Maleficent in one woman. She's got it going on.

Cullen - 7. Not a huge fan of blondes(Varric is an exception), and there's nothing in terms of personality that I connect with towards him.

My Personal Favorite at the moment would be vivienne. Hubba hubba.

When it comes to me, sexuality and hotness is a combination of personality and looks. 

 

Personally, Cassandra is the hottest female companion so far. Both in terms of looks and personality (from what we know of her). If a woman can look hot with short hair and heavy sexually neutral armor they are going to be damn gorgeous !

 

Vivienne to me is the one that I do not like. Over the top ridiculous robes + stupid hat + bald. Bald women turn me off completely. Add that to those retarded outfits...Let's just say she won't be in my party very much. At least she can fuss about her robes in the Keep in peace. 

 

As for the men....

 

I find Solas' down to earth appearance interesting. Not sexually attractive but interesting because here is a man who, in the face of everything around him, chooses to dress normally (his robes look functional and not flashy) and have a plain appearance. That speaks a lot about his character. 

 

As for Varric..well he is Varric. Suave, smooth, chest hair, mostly calm and funny demeanor..I mean what more could you possibly want ? Plus, I never give a damn about height. I guess it is a good thing he is attached to Bianca because he is just too good. Hopefully he is not romanceable.

huh, i literally facepalmed after i read the first few pages of Asunder. Cole is the least interesting character i've ever seen. but i guess that's usually the case with creator's pets and me liking them.

 

i really have no idea about char's personality so it's hard to decide which is most interesting. this thread is about hottness tho, so...

 

8. Iron Bull. i really cannot find anything attractive in mountains of muscles. dude, wear something, anything, that's just disgusting (1/10)

7. blond elven chick. kind of meh, she looks like she's the new funny rogue (2/10)

6. Gray Warden. the beard. the beard! (5/10)

5. Solas. mmm, those low-res pictures, the guy is one hot set of bigass pixels. more smirking please (5/10)

4. Scribe Girl. she's pretty, getting sweet and naive wearing pink and flower picking vibe from her. i feel she's more interesting than that, tho (otherwise she'd be last on the list) (5/10)

3. DHMG. he's quite comical, looks like moustache twirlling villain (i like the idea of him being a Tevinter magister), especially with his expression (those hands, they are made for muahahahaha gestures). extra points for classical look. pleasebeEdwinpleasebeEdwin (8/10)

2. Cass. her beauty is quite unremarkable. but she can wield a sword. and a shield. extra points for badassery (10/10)

1. Viv. she is beautiful, classy and she's a powerful mage. perfection (10/10)

 

as for Varric and/or Cullen. it's hard to say, the hottness rating would be skewed too much

"Scribe girl" might be the most attractive character, though I'm saying that based entirely on concept art. And of course in-game she won't look entirely like her concept art.

 

Not sure if she counts though, because I don't think she is a companion.

Oh wow.  This thread could be fun, as long as people don't take it too seriously.

 

Cassandra:  DA2 Cass was hotter, but I'd say she'd still be a 6.

Vivienne:  I'm not sure whether to rate her with or without hat.  I'm not honestly sure which one is better either.  6.

Sera's concept art:  I'm not entirely sure about the fringe, from an aesthetic standpoint.  8.

 

Varric:  He's improved since DA2, which isn't saying an awful lot.  I'd say a 6.  The darker hair suits him and his eyes aren't so small now.

Solas:  There's a certain authority to his baldness.  7.

Warden's concept art:  8.

Cullen:  He's all right.  I can't see why people prefer him over any other minor character, but I suppose I'd hook up with him, if I was that was inclined.  8.

Dramatic hands: I don't like mustaches.  6.
