I did miss that...never hooked up with them.
I guess I'll have to keep that in mind when playing a Dalish Inquisitor.

Well, he is handsome.) This is just one of the complex of reasons. But it's easy enough to understand.
Others are harder to explain.
Well, that I kind of get(I think the image in the trailer actually looked kind of dopey, to be honest, but I'm given to understand DG has compared him to a rather handsome actor I had never heard of).
It's everything else I don't understand.
I also think that there's a certain level of double standard in it; were Cole female but otherwise entirely the same I think anyone who expressed interest in Colette would be flamed to the black city and back(arguably deservedly so).
David Gaider already expressed that Cole would never be romanceable.
Sorry if someone already mentioned this, my eyes are tired ![]()
Cass and Viv aren't allowed near the straight corner.
*huff*
I WANT CASSANDRA, AND YOU CAN'T TAKE HER FROM ME!!!
Okay, so either Iron Bull is bi or gay
If Iron Bull is a LI but gay, I will be so...I don't even know. Somewhere between angry, crying from sorrow, and crying of laughter because of how hard Bioware trolled me.
Okay, so then either Iron Bull is bi or gay.
Or Weekes wrote Scribe Girl or Leliana.
Or in addition to IB, Weekes also wrote: Solas, DHMG, or Cullen and they are bi or gay.
It's also entirely possible that Weekes wrote a non-straight character that isn't a romance. Iron Bull could very well be gay, but that doesn't mean he'll be a romance.

It has been mentioned.
I'm just trying to understand the appeal, though I don't think I ever will.

That would be a nice twist ![]()

Wouldn't it be the biggest amount of trolling if IB or GW was gay?
Btw, I think Sheryl wrote the Warden.
Yea, and it causes a big stir. Neither of them think it's even an option at first and both feel really ashamed afterwards. You also get a lecture from the clan's first over it.
And if you convince them to hook up with each other, you get another lecture from the first about how they should have waited and you shouldn't have meddled.
I also get the distinct impression that arranged marriages happen a lot in Dalish culture. It's the only really good way to make sure that people marry and have children with elves of other clans, which is vital to the survival of the Dalish.
Wouldn't it be the biggest amount of trolling if IB or GW was gay?

No, it wouldn't be trolling. In fact, if it were IB as gay and DHMG as bi, that would be the best early Christmas present ever!

Would you be willing to flip those orientations around? ![]()

Yeah, I'm not really one to tell others who they can crush on, but it does squick me out a bit that people are wanting to engage in a romantic (and possibly sexual) relationship with a guy who has the mind of a child. I get that's he handsome (the actor you were referencing was Evan Peters, I think), but that isn't really enough in my opinion. Of course that might be because I'm an adult. I'm sure that there are people on the boards in their teens and, in that case, it's not as questionable to be attracted to Cole. In fact, my 16 year old niece was just talking to me about how hot she finds Evan Peters over Easter, so I kind of get it from that perspective.
Not for me, it wouldn't
Would you be willing to flip those orientations around?
Yes. I would! In fact, DHMG is my fav right now, so I kind of selfishly want him to be gay so that we can have a really handsome openly gay companion, to be honest. ![]()
I never got that impression.
Can't you just randomly hook up with two elves in the DA:O Dalish camp?
Yeah, with high persuasion. Both of whom are ashamed they did it immediately after.
While I wouldn't care if Iron Bull was gay or not(big fan of Spartacus, so I don't have a problem with badass gays), I think it's important to remember that Patrick writes for Celene and Briala, too.
Okay, so then either Iron Bull is bi or gay.

Lol, I meant on the part of BioWare when they make us think it's clearly gonna be someone else.
And hell yes, that'd be my dream come true!
Yes. I would! In fact, DHMG is my fav right now, so I kind of selfishly want him to be gay so that we can have a really handsome openly gay companion, to be honest.
Awww, I think Dave has a crush on the stache lol
So PW's possible LI character is either bi-l, or ******-lIf it is Male LI and we have three m and three f LIS, then...Cullen, unkown and Weekes' unknown LI.Cullen - likely hetero-lWeekes' - bi-l or ******-lUnknown - bi-l or ******-lThe only way he writes female LI if he writes Scribbles, then she is bi-l or ******-l. Then either Cassandra is straight, or Vivienne/Sera...Why do I even waste my time trying to figure this out?
OR her could be possibly writing Empress Celene. He said 'non guy'. *shrugs* and i think he's the one who writes Celene since he wrote her before?
Also scribbles doesn't interest me at all >.> hopefully they can write more romances so Cass won't end up hetero.
Edit: Ninja'd. Twice.
I want to address this; then I'll stop being offtopic.I think to a certain extent what bugs me about the Cole thing is that I just don't get it.
I understand why people want to romance pretty much everyone else, even if they don't appeal to me. Cole's just the one I do not get, at all.
I want to understand, though I'm not sure that I can.
Or he wrote any number of NPC's. Empress Celene or Briala, perhaps?
Absolutely true. I went back and read the original post and it doesn't say companion. It just says character. The OP for that comment really exaggerated it and I didn't read closely enough (I was on the bus), so I missed it.
That really doesn't tell us anything that we can use.
Awww, I think Dave has a crush on the stache lol
Hush your mouth boy! I don't know what you are talking about......... ![]()
It's everything else I don't understand.
Cole has pure heart. He is honest and devoted. He is a mystery, and secrets attract people.
Though he is dangerous, I can't deny that, it just adds to his charm in my opinion.
I personally can't get why so many ppl want Cullen so much. It's nothing in him for me.
Though I don't make it a problem.
I also think that there's a certain level of double standard in it; were Cole female but otherwise entirely the same I think anyone who expressed interest in Colette would be flamed to the black city and back(arguably deservedly so).
Why do ppl always use this argument when they lack of other arguments?
I don't know what would happen if Cole was a female. I just know that i wouldn't want Li with her. Because I'm stright, that's all.
You, boys have better pieces of romance in every game, and still you complain?
Hush your mouth boy! I don't know what you are talking about.........
Mhmmm, real subtle, dear. ![]()
