It's always fun to see who my characters end up with. Sometimes it is interesting to give a try to the less obvious choices, like having my selfish, ruthless Amell be obsessed with Leliana or my noble, naive Mahariel fall for Morrigan. So DAI seems like it will be an entertaining exercise in messing up with my characters and Bioware's.

I guess the reason why I want mature LIs is that there haven't been that kind of LIs before. It would be a nice change. But I believe that I will enjoy the romances even if all the LIs would be naive and I would have to help them with their problems.

I want a destructive troublemaker, who is rude to people and aggressive, who doesn't like people, who's got odd rules, who's just as fucked up as I am, who pushes others and me and himself to the extreme, who is obsessed with me, who would go mental if I made him jealous, who kills for me.

 

I want a laid back guy, who is so much cooler than me, who's got no problems, who makes brilliant jokes, who shows me places I didn't know existed, who's friends with more people than I even know, who gives me little gifts instead of just taking the ones I give him.

Fenris and Anders actually were pretty good for my Hawkes since my Hawkes were quite strong on their own and capable of protecting their LI's. But still I get that the romances were little like.. being psychologist at some point and Hawke gave more than got. Some support back would have been nice ^^;

Wait, someone selfish but who will help you instead of asking for your help? That's a bit of a contradiction right there xD. Of course, there are different levels of selfishness. There is 'I don't give a damn about anyone' selfish and 'I don't give a damn about anyone I don't know' selfish. Is that what you're referring to?

 

What I'd really like is someone who is not afraid of criticizing the Inquisitor and going against his/her wishes, even. Someone able to tell him/her no (I sense a qunari joke coming) and call him out on the things he/she does.

I'm guessing she fails in the attractive department? From my very subjective perspective, she looks rather average in the trailer. 'Pretty' is the most I would give her. But then, trailers are deceptive.
