I read this in Petyr Baelish's voice for some reason
That pleases be tbh
Yeah, the only way I even have a shot at getting who I want how I want if if they have 8 LIs, and that's almost certainly not going to happen.
And you can always make a character of a different gender, right? I mean, I know I'll never romance the straight female because I refuse to make a straight male PC, but if you really like a character then you can totally design a PC to match them... right?
Indeed. In my mind, I am ok with sacrificing more choices in pursuit of a fully gay companion, which I am dearly excited for. The only downside is that for others, it restricts the choices and closes some off from them, and it hurts to see some people so disappointed.
What if there isn't a gay companion?

That's what I do if I truly wanna romance a certain character, but I can understand why some can't
Who *do* you want?
Who are you hoping for anyway?
Well, let's see.
On the male side: Cullen, DHMG(Varric and Iron Bull would be interesting but I've never had high hopes for that.)
On the female side: Cassandra, Scribbles, Sera.

Notice I said 'how I want'.

It's not my ideal, but I'm okay with it. The most important thing to me is that we have a gay companion. I'd rather have that gay companion be non-romanceable and then have all bisexual romances (because omnomnom I need more choice), but I'm not gonna complain about this system. (Okay, yes, I will, but it comes from a good place).

Petyr Baelish comparisons please you?
I mean whatever floats your boat....
Which is fair. With time comes some reflection and perspective, and upon hearing the news initially I think a lot of people (especially with the way Cameron ended up wording the whole thing) were afraid that they'd be losing options and the ability to choose.
I still feel that way.
Thinking someone is hot =/= wanting them
Who *do* you want?
Everyone
That's why it's not a hot daddy, just daddy is enough.
What if there isn't a gay companion?
My point is that I wanted a character that expresses their attraction to men or women or both within the context of the world.
Exactly, exactly

I don't think you'd need to sacrifice companion romance choice (DA2 system) for that.
And you can always make a character of a different gender, right?
Nope. I have no desire at all to play as a female, and wouldn't do it just to simply be able to romance someone otherwise closed off to my male Inquisitor.

Maybe not.
Honestly, who the hell knows.
We don't have anything definite on the breakdown for LIs yet. All we have is supposition.
lmfao you're such a jerk

*taps foot* Ahem....
Now Ares just needs to reply: ''I know'' To the foot taping, and we have a new boys beat.
'Just play a straight man' is such an unsatisfying answer. One of the reasons I like BioWare games is that I don't have to play a straight man. I get to play a lesbian.
That really is a big part of why I enjoy the games.

Preach, Lady Maria!!!!

What happened now!?!?!?!
