sorry, but after carth, sky and thane I'm tired of these ex-girlfriend and ex-boyfriend issues lots of men in Bioware games have.

Whatever. We'll just have to agree to disagee. It was annoying as hell that Kaidan had the SAME dialogue with either a femShep or a Male Shep.

I never saw that at all. She just seemed like a normal woman to me.

They did specifically take the arms off of the generic male model and put them on her, if I recall correctly.

yes, that was boring as well. But since he was the only option (besides Steve) I had to romance him. I would have prefered Garrus though.

I romanced Steve three times. I liked him a lot. I just always wanted more content to magically appear.

I have hopes that the NPC romances in DA will be fuller.

I am curious as to how it all balances out. I, of course, plan on doing all of them, eventually.

Thanks for not dismissing Steve. Really get tired of him being trashed all over the Internet. Sure there could have been more content but they did the best they could do and alot of people enjoyed it.

And I agree. Hope it balances out. :)

All I know is that I am going to be disappointed if Cassandra doesn't have some definition to her arms because someone decided that wasn't conventionally attractive.

She already have a scar (well two I think) that is not conventionally attractive. You forget about them because of those eyes though (they overshadow everything else).

I do not expect her to be that buff, she was more of a dexterity/speed fighter in Dawn of the Seeker anyway.

I think the scars fits her personality very well. I like how she looks and I'm content that Bioware didn't create just another classic beauty.

She was a dexterity/speed fighter in Dawn of the Seeker because DotS was an anime. They have a word for dexterity/speed fighters in dragon age and that word is rogue.

I'm not asking for female body builder buff here. I'm asking for female mma fighter buff, which is actually a higher level of athleticism and functional strength, along with flexibility and agility, compared to body building, which is just for show.

Given that Iron Bull has the physique of a heavy weight mma fighter or prowrestler, that seems to be an apt comparison.

I'd rather he have the same dialogue for both genders and have it worth hearing once. All Steve talked about was his dead husband. Totally plot irrelevant and really off putting, imo.

I've never done Steve's romance but I have done his friendship path. I think the issue with Steve is they were trying to kill two birds with one stone with him; have him fill a slot as a romance but also have a very personal display of how the collectors and the reapers affected people.

Maybe that would work if he were just a friend, but I don't find it appealing getting in a relationship with someone that's clearly still grieving the loss of a spouse. Especially as their superior, it doesn't seem ethical, to me. Not "date rape Vega" unethical, but still pretty unsavory.

Agreed.  I'm hoping for Aveline level buffness, at the least.

Not just Cass, lady Inquisitor should have a body like the pic Fiend posted.

If he would have been a straight romance it would be very, very different. It's about unequal treatment.

Lady warrior inquisitor. Maybe lady rogue inquisitor.

I wouldn't mind if lady mage inquisitor wasn't so built. I'm actually hoping that male mage inquisitor won't be as buff as in previous games.

Me too, very, very tired. What's with the widowers obsession, anyway? But more generally, I'd realy like it if they were easy on past lovers, I don't see the appeal in hearing a guy you like go on and on about another woman... It's one thing of set sexualities and "more complex characters" that has me a little bit worried

I can understand why some people would like this, but I definitely would not. It'd be perfect if it were something we could choose

I'm hoping for a "muscle definition" slider in character creation.

With Cullen being one of them, I hope so for Bioware's sake. Imagine the Cullenites getting mad. :P

It's already been confirmed on twitter that we can't change our inq's body in any way in the CC.

So yea, that sucks, but i understand why they can't. They already have to make 8 different body types, and have all the armor in the game fit all 8 body types.

Maybe in a future BioWare game.

As for Cassandra, I'm hoping for an athletic body type as well.
Some people may not like that, but those people can suck it :)

Is there any statistics available how many people have been played DAO or DA2 as female or as male characters. Or which characters have been most popular LIs? I have only seen some statistics about ME3 and the number of female protagonists is really low. That makes me a little bit worried because I see that if there are only few people playing as female protagonist then you might not get as many LIs as straight men (I believe that this is the majority of people who play games). I'm ok with that and I think it's important to make a game that will satisfy the needs of the majority of the people playing it because otherwise there wouldn't be any games like that but I guess I'm just worried that I might not get even one LI or the romance will be tragic one which I don't like. I guess I'm just trying to say that for me it's more important to get even one LI even if  there are more LI's for male protagonists. And I don't think it's unfair because I'm in the minority and that's why asking an equal number of LIs is not reasonable .

I doubt there will be issues around equality of numbers. My fears are completely around the notion of choice being eroded via NPC romances, which imo aren't of equal status or value to companion romances.

I agree so much.

NPC romances are a non-option to me.

I'm hoping for something like this.

Cassandra needs to look like she's ready to step inside the octagon.

That looks fantastic.  I would definitely be in full support of that level of buffness.  It seems very practical for a sword and board style warrior in full armor.  All that crap together is heavy, and being waifish while wielding those weapons and wearing that armor would just be ridiculous.

It would be possible to adjust muscle definition without affecting the over all dimensions of the body in a way that affects armor. Though I suppose with modern graphics that wouldn't look as good as it might have a few years ago.

Oh well. Here's hoping that next time I can make a femquisitor that looks like this.
