Iron Bull didn't come out better looking, to me, than I expected. I just can't help but think.. wow, even with the horns, his head is so small compared to the mountain it's on. lol

I guess I know about half of possible LIs and their orientations if 2/2/2 will be used instead of 2/2. 

Aaah, I just hope neither Cole nor Sera are LIs

Though I still hope I can romance Iron Bull. Everyone else can go home if my sweet, sweet vashoth inquistior can romance this bulky rogue (not rogue as class, I mean, but as a qunari desrter) and confuse him with her qun-friendly ideology and kind heart

The trailer kind of made me think more than before that my first companion LI guesses would be right.

 

Dorian/Solas

Cassandra/Sera

 

Dorian and Solas are easily the most widely appealing males, imo. The warden looks on the older scale that I was expecting, which backs up my previous theory that he's VERY close to his calling. Iron Bull has a really exaggerated build. I'd be more likely to think he was an LI if he had a build closer to human, like the Qunari in DA2. I'm sticking with Dorian and Solas for my male choices.

 

Vivienne is pretty, but Sera is REALLY cute in that trailer. She would be a pretty good balance for Cassandra, who has a harder look. I'd be less surprised if Vivienne was a LI than if I guessed the guys wrong, but right now I'm still leaning towards Cassandra and Sera for female companion LIs.

If I had to guess, I'd stick with my original guesses for 6 LI's:

 

Male:  Cullen (straight or bi), Solas (unsure), and DHMG (unsure --- please, please be the gay one...!)

Female:  Cassandra (straight or bi), Sera (unsure), and Scribe Girl (unsure)

 

If there are only 4, I'm changing my guess to:

 

Male:  Cullen and DHMG (used to be Solas)

Female:  Cassandra and Scribe Girl

Yeah, but with Cullen in the picture, it kind of messes that whole thing up.  Even if he's not a companion, he's definitely a warrior, so it would be 1 warrior and 2 mages for the guys.

Just wanted to comment that I never noticed your sig before.  It's a huge pet peeve of mine that people conflate bisexuality with playersexuality.  Glad to see that I'm not the only one making the distinction!

I think what's gotten a lot of people really defensive about their LI's for this game is that mods won't be an option, so what we get is what we get.

Well, I'm a console player, so I've always been stuck with whoever they give me, so I guess that's why I'm not as worked up about it.  I'm used to being disappointed.  Although, to be honest, I'm not really sure how they could disappoint me with this lineup. 

 

I guess my worst case scenario for guys is Cullen (not bad actually, but he's confirmed), Solas, and Varric (who I just don't want to see be an LI) with Cullen as straight, Varric as bi, and Solas as gay.  Even then, I'd still have Varric, even though I'd prefer not to see him be an LI.

 

Best case scenario would be Cullen, DHMG, and Iron Bull with all three being bisexual.

Yeah, same here. I just hated having to always explain what the terms meant to me before getting to the actual argument and I figured this would make it easier for everyone involved.

Always played on console as well. Difference is that I'm really tired of always ending up disappointed. After the fiasco that was all of Mass Effect (at least as far as satisfying romances for me go) and DA:O (oh hey Morrigan), I am so very tired of always feeling like I have to decide between being happy with my main character or being happy with the character I can romance. I can never seem to have both. (Except in DA2, bless the poor underappreciated thing )

Since they already released images of all the companions, I think we'll probably know the LIs before release, too, honestly. I never thought we'd see all the companions so soon.

Maybe they decided to show the companions, but keep their LI status under wraps? I definitely think they won't wait until release to at least tell us how the romance system is gonna work. They know that a lot of people are sitting on burning coals concerning that.

I think they'll probably dole out the information over the next few months to keep the hype going. We'll probably hear about them in pairs, like before, I'm guessing. They might keep some secret until release, but at this point I sort of doubt it. They didn't keep any secret until release last time.
