Morrigan was a better way of doing it you could tell she had feelings for the PC but she wished them well after getting rejected (and if they had someone else locked in love she just goes "but there's someone else I understand." without trying to push the issue).
Merill had an unrequited crush on Hawke, too, but she was much more subtle about it and seemed to have no problem at all being 'just friends.' I think that makes a lot of difference. If they want someone to love Quizzy no matter what, I hope its more like that then Liara or Anders.

And I think it was worse in Anders' case because he waits 3 years after you reject him (or just not pursue a romance with him at all) to call you out on your relationship choices. That's creepy as hell. I just really don't get the appeal of Anders. He's like that person you date in high school who calls you out for dumping them at the five-year-reunion.

Tali, too, has been holding a torch for DudeShep for two years. She admits to "watching" him and pining for him since they met in her romance, only she didn't know if he could see past her Quarian circumstances. I found that a bit iffy in how it played out.
I mean, if someone told me, "I have been watching you for years" and then recalls specific incidents in list form... I'd be more creeped out than flattered.

Yeah I despise the Talimance. In so so many ways. And that's not even getting into the "I might get die (til they retconned it with that herbal supplement BS) if we bone Shep. But worth it."

That also weirded me out a bit. But then again, so did Liara's strange forwardness in ME1 ("Hey Shepard, want to hear how it's totally condoned for Asari to have sex with members of other species? It's like, actually a cultural imperative. Anyway, great first conversation ever!").
