It wouldn't have been so bad if Leliana and Zev had gotten some decent attention in comparison. But jeez. You even get more banters about Alistair/Morrigan's romance than you do Zev's/Leliana's. That's messed up. (I'm trying to compare my Zev mancer's banters to my Alistair one and...yeah =/ )

That's like saying, and yes I know this is a huge hyperbole, that slaves shouldn't complain that they don't have freedom because "It's how it is". Complaints bring forth change.
Oh my, it's a frigging' game. No need to be so super serious about the unfair things. The devs can not physically do everything to please ALL the fans, so there will be some who are disappointed.
Some fans really do take the game waaaay to seriously, as I can see. And sometimes I can feel why Gaider is acting so mean...
Edit: I just wanted to add that I'm not the person who is okay with the situation because she "gets what she wants". The character I would like to romance will likely be unromanceable at all. But constantly bugging the devs and whining about it just doesn't make any sense.
That's why Anders not mentioning his past relationship with Carl to fHawke was made so a player can think he is straight... Oh, and doing stuff due to lack of resources like reused caves, enemies falling from the sky and player's choice not mattering in the end...

Complaints can also undercut the position of the person complaining by revealing a lack of perception. Drawing an equivalence between 'a fictional character in a luxury good media product doesn't want to be my 2D lover who whispers sweet things to me and anyone else who clicks the flag' and, say, the involuntary servitude and status of property of a good part of history filled with horrific abuse and tragedy, does not exactly inspire credibility of your reasonableness. Even if you do hang a lampshade on it.
Just say you want what you like and don't want other people to get what they like with the changes they wanted.

I try being honest and expressing my side. It goes nowhere except "You're being entitled" at best and occasionally much worse things at worst.

What's wrong with being entitled and holding a view? It's not like you're demanding Bioware must do something or else Be Wrong- you are respectfully and politely expressing a preference that, yes, is zero-sum with the preferences of others. Being entitled to express preferences is one of the greatest things about the the modern age. And you aren't even being abrasive about it.
