My sibling joins the wardens every time in DA2. That doesn't look to be any safer right now. lol

I'm mostly kidding. I think Carver is a beter character then Bethany

 

I used to dislike his whining alot, but he does man up if you make him a Warden. Which is a plus.

He mans up to even greater extent if you make him a Templar. I like this route more, it's better fleshed out.

Edit: as the Wardens, your siblings are effectively removed from the plot, they are just there, somewhere. In the back of your head.

Really? I thought I read that their conflict doesn't get resolved if you let him become a templar. Only him you let him join the wardens. 

 

I have so far only let him join the templars, but I did him in the end nontheless. Was planning to let him join the wardens during this playthrough.

Well, he, as a recruit, stands up to Knight-Commander to defend his sibling. If it isn't manning up, I don't know what is.

True. I guess I worded it wrong. What I meant was that apperantly Hawke and Carver's conflict doesn't get resolved if he joins the templars, but does if he joins the grey wardens.

I like the friction of the templar path, coupled with not condemning them to an early death via the taint.
