I think there's a pretty good chance Vivienne wont get LI status, at this point. I wouldn't honestly be at all surprised if Cassandra and Solas are straight.

Ahh, so many people are going to be disappointed with not romancing the character they want if they go the 2/2/2 route. That's why the best solution is the all-bi.

I'd be more disappointed if they gor for playersexuality again and still only have 4 LIs total.

Example: If i wanted to romance Solas, but he was gay only in 2/2/2 I would happily create a male Inquisitor to romance him somewhere along the line.
If they only have 4LIs again and they're playersexual, it might turn out the LIs are Cullen and DHMG instead of Cullen/DHMG/Solas

For me and other flexible players this approach adds two Options. And from what I heard from the devs so far they'll either represent every sexuality equally (2/2/2) or bring back playersexuality (if they don't have enough romance Slots, so that would mean only 4LIs again).

I think there will be 2 companion LIs and 1 NPC LI for each gender, so it's either Vivienne or Sera. I just think Sera is the most likely, because she contrasts against Cassandra more and she's probably the most traditionally attractive of the three women. I think the female LIs will be Cassandra, Sera and Scribe Girl.

I don't think we know enough to guess who the "main" LIs are. Cassandra seems to be it for the female choices, I'd say. It's possible they've balanced it more, though. That's what I hope, anyway.

Well, I would have less of a problem with 6 bisexual LIs... though that huge amount of bisexuals who happen to have the hots for the inquisitor in your group is kinda unrealistic. But that's a different reason why I prefer set diverse sexualities.

He is, but the writing team aren't necessarily even the ones making the call on a major mechanic like that. I'd guess that's a choice more for someone like Laidlaw to make. Gaider didn't even push that hard for it, though. It's just something he mentioned once in a post on his personal blog as something he might like to try eventually.

 

It might happen, but it's not like we have official word that more than 4 LIs definitely means gender gated LIs, is all I'm saying.

I really want to have our first gay male companion ever.  If it were DHMG, I'd be over the moon happy.  We've had straight, bi, and lesbian (Juhani) companions before but never a gay companion.  I just want one, then we can go right back to all bisexual LI's.  Please, just let me be a little selfish this once!

 

I don't see why it's selfish. If there is a gay male LI there will almost certainly be a straight male LI to counterbalance it, so you lose as much as you gain.

How do we know her's isn't Scribe Girl, if she wrote a romance? She doesn't have a writer yet.

David was asked a question about what he would prefer to write and answered but even then, he avoided anything about what the romances would be like in Inquisition. And I would say, if memory serves, even his preference was not as black and white as 2/2/2/ makes it out to be.

 

When I like of all of my favorite companions and characters, who they sleep with is the last thing that comes to mind. It does not define them for me. Nor does that fact that someone else may play the game differently from me.

I don't think Vivienne is a romance option...

 

I'm guessing: 

 

Cullen (only female), Dorian (only male), Solas (both) 

Scribe girl (only female),Cassandra (only male), Sera (both)

 

That means 6/12 are romanceable. While 4 are companions and 2 are advisors.

We don't even know if Kirby wrote Solas. We only know she wrote Vivienne and Varric. Hell, Lukas could have written Solas for all we know.

I too see the possibility of six LI's (four companions, two NPC's). I do hope for Pansexual/Bisexual, but it will be, what it will be. Time will tell.

As for whom, like @Mort, I also suspect Solas and DHMG, for male companions, and Cass and Sera for female. Then Cullen and scribe girl for the NPC's
