I don't think we'll get all three female companion as LI if there are only three per gender. And if there are four, Sera will be likely the bisexual one for having a choice for both straights and lesbians to romance a non-human female character.

Idk why, but Viv keeps reminding me of Lupita Nyong'o. Both are fabulous and drop dead gorgeous.

 

I thought the same thing!  They are stunning, and Vivi's outfit is freaking amazing, I appreciate it so much more now.

I know a gay guy who didn't like the Kaidan romance either, but it was because he kind of felt like Kaidan was just... how did he put it?

 

Forcing a relationship because he didn't want to die single, or something along those lines. He didn't get the sense that Kaidan's expression of interest was genuine, basically.

 

 

The Citadel brunch conversation scene made me feel similar to that.  It felt somewhat melancholy to me.  Thinking about missed opportunities and facing the realities of not being around in this war, and then seguing into how it's nice to have someone to care about.  I guess you'll do, since you're here!  The first time I played, it was something that hit me noticeably in a negative way.  Viewing clips on youtube years later, I find I'm more dissatisfied with Shepard's lines and responses to Kaidan's fishing.  He's basically, "Yeah... yeah, all that caring stuff makes sense.  Well, whaddya know, har har, I guess I do care for ya, Big K!"

This is why I supported the 'everyone is bisexual' model.

I can see feeling that way, but I think because I had been mentally shipping them since ME1, it seemed more like a natural, if shy, admission that Kaidan has had the hots for my Shepard for a while, and with all the **** going down, he knows it's now or never. And Shepard has spent all this time focused on the Reapers (or dead), I easily bought that Shepard never stopped, took a breath, and examined how he felt about Kaidan.

 

 

In other news, I want to meet Vivienne really badly. Is it October yet?

I'd be happy regardless of who will get. I admit I'm probably an exception though.
