Honestly, I think if Cullen is straight, the bi one will probably be Solas.
I've suffered elves for two DA games, and had a pretty damn awesome time. Ravishing another one won't be the end of me. ![]()

Dare I hope that this could be a reality?
Hope, sure. Expect, meh.

Solas is my third choice, I'd just rather have Cullen. lol
It's why I think it will be something like this:
Straight Female: Cassandra
Bisexual Females: Scribbles, Sera
Gay Female: Vivienne
Straight Male: Solas
Bisexual Males, Cullen, DHMG
Gay Male: Grey Warden
You're really dead set on 8 LIs lol ![]()

Plan for the worst, hope for the best?

Lol, between DAO and DA2, none of my choices were even remotely attractive to me. This is the first time I am dead set on an LI.
The 8 LI thing wouldn't change anything for me, since I don't care about the warden. 6 LIs with Dorian and Cullen available or 8 LIs, it's all the same to me.
So is Cass too. A lot of gay ladies are going to be dissapointed if she ends up dude romance only.
I agree. I could see both Cass and Cullen being bisexual. They both have pretty rabid fan bases and they were the first two to be announced. Remember that we don't know for sure that we're getting another NPC romance. People suspect it, but Cullen could just as easily be a 5th romance.
Honestly, I think if Cullen is straight, the bi one will probably be Solas.
I'm really hoping that it doesn't work out this way, but I'm bracing for it just in case. I'm sure he's a perfectly great guy, but he's just not doing anything for me. I'd be a little disappointed given that he is, literally, the only male character we know about who I wouldn't want to romance (Cole excluded for obvious reasons).
You're really dead set on 8 LIs lol
I have a strong feeling is all.
Plan for the worst, hope for the best?
Exactly.

Zevran and Anders both looked alright, to me. None of them have been mind blowing. Video game guys are pretty much never really my type, I guess.
But it is an easy choice.
The worst that can happen is that, what, you get a pure evil eldritch abomination whose only goal is the complete eradication of life? To even have Morrigan's plan succeed you've already had to kill one of those. If the DR goes back, it's just one more skull added to the throne. That's, to me, the "no downside" part of it. If there's any chance for the plan to succeed, then the DR just won't generate that much of a threat.
Except my warden'll be old and ghoulish and not able to stop it. Plus she's not the type to want to foster her problems on someone else.
Besides the archdemon wasn't able to blend in with the rest of the world. OGB has to potential to be much much worse.
I understand why you wouldn't want to. I just like picking the choices I think will make things as complicated and dramatic as possible.
XD
I kinda want Cass to be the bi one as well, cause I know so many people will be disappointed if she isn't.

Avernus made it a few centuries. No reason the Warden can't.

Don't get my hopes up with this D:
Avernus made it a few centuries. No reason the Warden can't.
Only one of my female wardens is a mage and she loathes bloodmagic. Plenty of reason to believe she won't.
My male mage doesn't care because I don't think he did the DR anyway (wait yes he did...). Well he doesn't care cause it's his kid and he sure in hell won't legitimize it.
So is Cass too. A lot of gay ladies are going to be dissapointed if she ends up dude romance only.
My list of 8 can possibly have Cassandra and Sera swap places.
I would be shocked if Cullen was anything but straight! Cullen seems as straight as they come.
This ought to be good....dare I ask why you think this is the case?

He might be straight, but I don't see why he couldn't be bi. We've literally only seen him have attraction to one person. It's not much to work from.

Have Solas and warden switch places.
But that leaves both straight options being warriors and both gay options being mages.
My uneducated-as-hell-straight-up-guesses:
Straight: Cullen, Cassandra
Gay/Lesbian: Dorian, Sera
Bi: Solas, Scribe Woman
But however the romances are done in the end, I hope we get great storylines and characterization out of them. Bioware can't please all of their fans, so I think focusing on the characters, their role in the plot, and the stories to be told through them is best - the romance path being a natural extension of those things is best IMO. I've RP'ed male, female, gay and lesbian characters in other RPGs like Fallout, so I might attempt to romance all of the potential LIs at some point, but no promises. In ME and DA, I've gotten stuck on one romance option across playthroughs and this trend in Bioware games may continue into DA:I.
I think Cassandra and Cullen will be romances. Now hand over your money.
I cant student loans beat me up and took all my money.
But that leaves both straight options being warriors and both gay options being mages.
When did class become a factor in making LIs?
Don't tell the other Cullenites....but I kinda want him to be the straight one, just in case IB or GW somehow get thrown in there for romance options, in which case they have to be the bi ones.
This would be so unfair to straight female players, though. Cullen is a very contentious character outside of his love thread, and offering them an NPC they might be morally opposed to or a hugely-muscled Qunari (who is so not to standard tastes) or an older man very likely to be near death is the definition of "not fair".

True.
