All I want is for once, just once to be able to romance the tough burly macho man and not the slender/emo/submissive/soft spoken guy. Though all the characters tend to be well written and I do like them all, for a change I want to be able to romance Sten instead of Alistair, Canderous instead of Carth, Zaeed instead of Kaidan, Sagacious Zu instead of Sky, etc...  I will send as many cupcakes as are needed to convince BW to let me romance Iron Bull lol

 

I agree with all of those except Zu. I wanted him and Sky. >:| if male PCs could have two options so could female.

Let them talk. If they're not bright enough to figure out that he's just kidding around with us, then that's their problem.

Well, anyone can be attractive on an individual basis. I'm more talking about beauty standards as they're traditionally accepted. Pretty much any of these women, if they were real, could be the LI in a big budget summer blockbuster. They're all traditionally attractive women. Some of the men, like warden, Iron Bull and Varric, are very unconventional as far as beauty standards go. You probably wouldn't see them as the star of one of those movies. They're just less likely to reach out of conventionally accepted beauty standards when making female concepts. That becomes really obvious when you fold in ME characters.   

 

Iron Bull would just be Arnie the Governator in a summer blockbuster. We had years of that in the 90s.

Hold up!  How are Alistair, Kaidan, Carth, and Sky slender?  Or emo?  Or submissive?  Or soft spoken?  I get that they are pretty much all "nice guys", but I don't see them as any of the descriptors you listed.

 

That being said, I completely support your request for a big, burly, muscle bound LI!

I actually want less manly, burly men than we always get. Every human man in a video game seems to be like 30+ and built like Captain America. I wish we could get someone with a pretty face in the early twenties range that was more lightly toned than totally ripped.

Well, the elf bodies do tend to be smaller, but they still look like they're in their 30s, to me. I kind of wish we could get a human LI like this, though. It's not really that I'm racist against elves. I don't mind them, I guess. Sometimes they do weird things with their features, though, like DA2. They look more normal again, it seems like. 

 

Zevran is probably the most attractive LI so far, to me, though.

Like I said, I like them all but they tend towards a type. Anders and Fenris are both very emo, Alistair and Kaidan are submissive/subservient to the PC, Even Garrus is supportive of everything you do to the point of almost submissiveness (Fenris can be seen as submissive as well). Kaidan and Thane are soft spoken, Sky and Carth are more normal (though both have dead wife syndrome), but the alternatives of Sagacious Zu and Canderous would be a nice change. I'm not saying it's bad, I've loved all those characters but you wouldn't describe a single one of them as a gruff, macho, take-charge kind of guy(like the non romanceable guys in the games) and that's something I'd like for a change. Zaeed, y u no love meeee!?

Wow, really?  Even in the new engine?  I think he's actually pretty handsome in the new trailer.  I always find this stuff interesting.  How one person finds a person "straight up ugly" and another finds the same person "handsome". 

 

It's like how there are people saying that Vivienne is just "okay".  I'm not even into ladies and I'm into Vivienne.

Fenris was slender, but I thought Zevran was still pretty muscular and solid, just shorter.
