My main assumptions about Romances is that Bioware is going to avoid "differences" such as the non-companion romances or the elves not being the same sexuality.

 

Possibly.

 

I can imagine that if Cullen turns out straight and scribbles bi no amount of blessed water will quell the fires of hell the fanbase is sure to throw in their face cuz' of "equality."

 

The same goes for the elves. So my assumption is that the Elves are bi so someone of any sexuality/gender can haz one if they no liek humanz and that the static romance will have the same sexuality..

I'd be ok with that. The only changes I'd make are personal preferences.

I never got the problem people who romanced Alistair had with the DR.

 

If the situation was reversed; if the only way I could save my girlfriend's life was by letting her have a one night stand with another man, it wouldn't be a decision. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Well, He's not doing it so female warden won't die, since he's willing to die for you, he's doing it because female warden wants both of you to survive by cheating death.  He hates Morrigan; she thinks he's stupid and makes sure he knows it; and he's going to help her have a child and he'll refuse until you nag him enough for him to go through with it.  Plus with the DR I had to watch him with her.  That was probably worse than anything else.    

 

If I'm not in a love relationship with him, I can talk him into letting Loghain join and die and Aliistair will tell me I was right, but if he "LOVES" me he throws a tantrum, leaves, doesn't go fight with another group, and doesn't come back to apologize.  There are a lot of things they could have done for a female warden but it would have been too much work so they set it up for the male warden who wanted to romance her.

 

If my husband were going to die, sure  I'd also have sex with some cute guy to save him.  If, as in the game, there was a choice between him and me, I'd slip something in his food and then go save the world and die in the process.   

 

The last few times I have played I have romanced Zev;  I'm Alistairs best friend; I married him to the Queen and both of them think it may work out ok. Loghain joins the wardens and sometimes dies sometimes doesn't.  Alistair says I was right. 

 

The DR could have been an option, and I'm sure there are people who would have taken it, I just wish they had twitched it so you didn't have to watch.  The last time I did the DR I skipped the bed crawl.

I think those may be going a bit to far since Gender lock outs already are in place.

What are we going to need like a list saying:

      Men   - Women     -  Qunari - Elf - Dwarf - Human Mage Warrior Rogue
