It'd be nice to see a baby epilogue if one of the romances genuinely seems to be going down that path. As far as LI opinion on children goes, I'd like it to be a mixed bag. Some might be open to the idea if the Inquisitor brings it up, some might be against it, some might be fond enough of the idea to suggest it before the Inquisitor does. That's assuming the topic ever gets brought up within the game, of course.

 

I really could do without it being brought up first. Or if it is there's a giant NOPE dialogue choice in response. I mean if it's relevant like marrying a queen/king then fine but for LI otherwise meh.

It could be like pandas and other critters, where the baby still comes out very small but grows rapidly and puts on weight quickly.  Also, waiting to see a Qunari woman's model in-game.  If they're basically slightly taller human women with delicate/slender hourglass proportions, well... 

 

This talk of babies today is making me think of Baldur's Gate 2.  Romancing Aerie results in her actually giving *birth* to your DudePC's baby during the journeys and having a baby item in her backpack inventory.

If they parallel qunari men, then qunari women should have absurdly bulky shoulders and necks. If you look at the DA2 concept art of the races, that's the big difference between male qunari and male humans: the thickness of the arms, shoulders, and neck. Everything else is just scaled up but identical in proportions. At least if we're talking about their builds.

We're still talking about a video game, right? All I see is real life that and real life this. Let the game be a game and keep most of the real life issues out of it. It's supposed to be fun and not remind us of all the crap we have to deal with every day.

 

If you take all real life issues out of Dragon Age, it becomes nothing more than a generic time-wasting video game for the mindless.

Since we're talking about babies, let me ask those who are using it as an argument something:

In Mass Effect, Ashley and Jack are two straight female LIs who never bring up the prospect of them getting pregnant. Are they more shallow in terms of romance content because of it?

It's the future. Lots and lots of means to stop getting pregnant.
As for Jack - she is not a gal wanting to have children

It's been revealed that at birth darkspawns are very small and defenceless, so I don't think it is any worse or better than other races broodmothers' situation
