It's not going to be fair either way for anyone, I'm happy there's an equal split instead of something odd numbered, I really am, but going from all to a restricted amount sucks. Obviously I'm going to wish for it to be in favor of my preference? Do you want me to lie and pretend I wouldn't? It's just from a personal point. Obviously that isn't fair, it's never fair, someone will be always unhappy or left out or whatever else.
I can't blame you for wanting what you want, but I am always a little surprised when people would request for themselves to benefit at the expense of others. I might sound naive, but if the DA: I team asked me tomorrow what I would want, I would never in a million years choose a system that gave anyone (even those who were historically privileged) less options. I would go with the 2/2/2 split so everyone gets two options. I would never say, "I really hope that it's just bisexual and gay options now!" But maybe that's just me.
If they went back to the staight/bi method.. Ugh. So depressing. Just ugh. I don't even want to think about it. I just wont be able to get excited at all about the game if that's what they're doing. It's such a huge set back.
I would seriously even take some numbers with no faces with them. Just say 2/2/2, if that's what it is. It just seriously sucks getting vague news when you basically know if anyone gets shorted on the deal, it's invariably going to be you, because it's always you.
I share your concern, but I have to remain hopeful that the team, which has been much more progressive than almost any other dev team and which has really been great about visiting us here on the forums, will not take a step back and give some people choice and not others. I have to think that they are going to give everyone at least two options, which is why I'm still thinking 2/2/2 is most likely, even if it is a BSN rumor mill creation.
wait what did I miss? link?
A thread in Scuttlebutt where they announced that romances are going to be a variety of sexualities (so not all bisexual). I linked it earlier, but it went downhill fast with trolls mocking people and making sketchy comments. Traverse at your own peril.
