Well, I don't think it'll happen in the 2/2/2 case. If there are eight LI, I'm not sure. They could've made both Scribbles and Sera bi, with Cassandra and Vivieenne being the (either one of them) straight/lesbian LI.
That breakdown would be good.

It doesn't matter what they did with other characters, she can't be Isabela because she's 1)compre lot different, and 2)I wouldn't make sense for her to be a commercial and political advisor.
Leliana is going to be an NPC, so don't hold out hope to kill her off. Also, the folks that did "kill" her did so right next to a place full of lyrium that had all sorts of manner of sacred ghosts and ash wraiths guarding the place. You watched her HP drop to zero, and you watched her fall. If she was decapitated, that was a gameplay move and not story based. Who's to say that the Warden didn't just assume she was dead?
Zevran returning was a bug. The devs admitted that wasn't supposed to happen. They didn't have time to fix it via a patch before support got dropped for DA2.
Cullen is looking likely to be an NPC, so don't hope to kill him either.
And what does having Cullen, Leliana and Varric back have to do with Scribbles at all? FYI: David didn't write most of those characters. Here's a list of the writers.
Cullen--Jennifer Hepler, though I'm not sure who took over writing duties for Cullen after she left.
Leliana--I can't find who her writer is. It could be DG. I'm not going to automatically assume as such. It's Sheryl Chee, thanks Streetmagic!
Varric--Mary Kirby.
And while David Gaider the lead writer, he's not the boss. He does not have a final say in what does and does not go back into the game, though he does have some influence.
Edit: Bonus points from the DAwiki:

Isabela in DAO Was a minor NPC, that's why her appearance changed. The other characters might be different due to Frostbite, but they have a lot in common with their previous appearance, with similar (if not identical) hairs and/or similar clothing. The only thing Scribbles has in common with Isabela is the colour of her skin and hair. The rest if completely different, much more than the other characters.already answered...because they are the only non-humans and we do not have Varric and i am sure we do not have Bull ad LI because some devs are racist especially when it comes for dwarven female li
Isabella in Da2 looks nothing like isabella from Origins and all characters are changed because of frostbite

You do know that Isabela was dark even in Origins, right? I can dig up a unmodified screenshot of her if you like.

Sheryl Chee wrote the original, and she's still here. She's writing DHMG as well.
Zevran an unfixed glitch.

I doubt Cullen and Leliana will be killable. Cassandra might be, but definitely not at the start.
1)we will see in Inquisition about how it was fixed
2)frostbite engine what change looks of all what we see...and she have similar style....i dont know for me and some peoples she is really reminds Isabella i hope that she is not her but still
and it does not make any sense for Cullen become a military advisor(for me is a silly joke) and Lilianna sure is not a master spy to be our spy advisor...so yeah if gaider or other devs would want she will became merchant avisor
i doubt it too because they are fav by Gaider and i really do not like this forced party...and i do not believe that we can execute Cassandra too

Having Isabela as a financial adviser would be like having a group of children safeguard your ice cream shoppe.

Please remember that, no joke, DA2 was initially given literally 12 months to complete. Whereas Inquisition has now had approximately three years. Things like the Zevran bug are going to be much easier to catch before launch, or at least caught and fixed.

Have you actually seen the concept art of the "War Room," or any of her survey art? She's got her hair in a bun, she's appears to be wearing pants and is in an adviser role. I don't know how you can see Isabela in the Scribe girl, especially since I can't really see Bela as the type to be rocking a quill.

I'm not a huge Cullen fan, but Cullen has had several years as a fighter and Templar. Considering that we're going to be fighting his former Templar brothers (the Red Templars didn't just come from nowhere,) his advice on how to take them down is going to be important.
I take it you missed Asunder, because Leliana has been working as a spy and bodyguard for the Divine Herself since she left the Warden's side at the end of Origins. Even if you romanced her, she gets "called off to important business."

For one, you're wrong. Those aren't David Gaider's favorite characters, Morrigan and Alistair are.

For another, who cares in a romance thread if you can kill Cassandra, Leliana, Cullen or not? Put down the murder knife in here, please.
This is getting too off topic. If you'd like to address this further, then please start another thread.

Leliana is a master of spies. She's been a Seeker all this time, I think. She tells you in DAO her specialty isn't stealth - it's hiding in plain sight. Knowing what kind of person people want to see, and becoming that. Yet, you'll see that the amulet she comes equipped with is "Seeker's Circle". And in her DLC, the Rev Mother who saves her is actually the future Divine Justinia. She's been working with her since.
I figured this would be a good time to get this back on track. ![]()
To be honest I'm perfectly fine with waiting, since I'll be fine no matter the outcome. I hope for those that want to know who the LI will be and the sexualities and they'll release info soon
.
I'm mainly waiting to see if Varric is confirmed as a LI or not.
What can I say? I'm a dreamer and so far he's the only companion I've really got my sights set on. I'll be the first to admit that it really helps that I knew him so well in the previous game. Even as a dear friend and if he's not available for romance, I'm thrilled to have him back.
Otherwise, Convention Season is probably when the much larger chunks of information are going to come down the pike. From about E3 onward, I have a feeling we'll be getting a glut of information for us to dissect, chew out and become thrilled/enraged about. ![]()
I also would like to think, based on writer and dev comments, that the DA team wants to share what they know with us. I think in some ways they might be even more excited about the game than we are. They just aren't ready to do so and while I'm sure that most of the "major" work is done, I'm betting small cuts and micro changes are happening as we speak. When they feel ready, they'll tell us.
Having Isabela as a financial adviser would be like having a group of children safeguard your ice cream shoppe.
I look forward to finding out that Isabela is our financial advisor, and the Inquisition has no money because she spent it all on hookers and blow. This would make the game much more fun.
2)frostbite engine what change looks of all what we see...and she have similar style....i dont know for me and some peoples she is really reminds Isabella i hope that she is not her but still
What elements of her design remind you of Isabela? She does her hair differently, wears different colours, covers far more skin, doesn't have any daggers ... in what possible way is she similar?
.speaking of voices, i will say that the quality and sound of the voice acting of a character plays a Huge role in how much i'm attracted, or not, to them.
tbh, it plays far, far more of a role than what the npc looks like.
For me too, not so much in RL, but definitely in videogames, where i find the mix voice +personality much more important than looks to make someone romanceable. That's why I think I can romance Garrus and Thane even if they're way too "unconventionalLy attractive" for my tastes... Though I'm not sure I wouldn't be able to romance even a vorcha if there was such an option even if only out of curiosity
By the way, whoever is in charge of voice casting (and the same goes for the ME team), it's doing a wonderful job, particularly with male LI's (I'm absolutely biased, I'd admit it): Fenris, Garrus, Kaidan, Zevran... ![]()

I wouldn't encourage them at this point. Best not to. ![]()

Yeah a sexy voice is ![]()
Now I'm wondering what IB sounds like...

I've been curious about his VA since the beginning. Keith David comes to mind, and I think he could do a stellar job.
Have to agree on the voice thing, it does make SUCH a huge difference... some Troy Baker would be nice. I know he's Kai Leng and all but... (Man, Zenith...)
In DA2 I can't romance Sebastian simply because I can't bring myself to execute Anders, but the voice...*sigh*
And I may get some odd looks and backing away for saying this but, am I the only person who finds Seneschal Bran's voice sexy?

I do too! He's actually voiced by Sebastian's VA too
I love that rude little Seneschal.

Oh I'm so relieved! It's the same guy? I didn't know that...I see it now actually... that certainly explains things lol
What a talented man, whereas a lot people might find the scottish aspect of Sebastians voice sexy, it's clearly the tone that does it for me, and this explains everything lol

I loved making that rude Sensechal squirm with my messed up sense of humor. If that is the same VA as Sebastian's actor, then I'm open minded about it.
I thought Sebastian's voice was okay...until I couldn't help but notice at least two other NPCs that sound just like that character. Such as one of the NPCs from Merrill's clan, and it just threw me off. As long as the ones directing the VAs don't make him sound exactly like Sebastian, I'd be fine with that.
If you're not constantly having sex with men and women while talking about how you enjoy having sex with men and women, then you are apparently not acting bisexual enough.
Of course, if you're obviously and enthusiastically interested in sex and like both men and women, you're a s*** like Isabela. If you are a guy and dare to mention an attraction to men, you are shoving your sexuality down other people's throats.
It's very sad how scarily accurate this observation is....... Way too many BSNers think exactly like this.
I missed all the fun. Meh.
Cassandra if she were real, the unrealistic Bisexual...
"I am Bi"
"You kissed a guy on the cheek, you cant like women"
"But that was my friend!"
"Then you should only date them ever. I would feel bad if you two got broken up"
"That doesnt even make sense, i probably wont ever see him again!"
"Well you can only date guys, because a cheek kiss means you are committed to getting a man, anyways your friend who likes to tell tall tales implied you had a crush on one of his characters and he is very reliable!"
"Varric? Reliable??"
"Well, I dont believe you. Bisexuals dont kiss men on the cheek and get crushes on story men."
"Bisexual means... Screw it. The only threat I see is YOU."
Cullen if he was real, the unrealistic Bisexual...
"I am Bi."
"But there was that girl you had a crush on"
"That was 15 years ago!"
"You crushed! That means after lusting after a woman there is no way you could enjoy a man"
"Nothing happened! I ran away when she flirted with me."
"Ah, but there were feelings so deep you could never deny them."
"Except I did deny them and got tortured for it!"
"Which means you love them so much more!"
"No it doesnt. It means I had a bad relationship that was one sided and almost completely in my head."
"Thats not true. A crush like that means you could never ever like a guy. One sided crush in your head means you are straight for life."
"That...that is not how it works. Oh wait...I am in a fade Nightmare, where else could anyone be this annoying? Begone demon!"
These two annoy me even more than, Kaiden who "fell for femshep and not male shep so straight forever!"
And Anders who talked a lot about girls but not guys. This is weakest reason for being straight instead of Bi.
My god, so spot on. Especially with Cassandra. ![]()
