What I love most aside from the general hilarity of that comic is that it's such a reversal of the "harem hot springs" trope found so often in anime. Hahaha, sorry.

The only hint I might recall was during a Geth dreadnought quest, when they're preparing to get out an Garrus mentioned that Michel sent him chocolates. Tali's reaction might be interpreted as jealousy, but it could he interpreted as surprised about Garrus' being oblivious to the reason Michel sent him chocolates (which might be more likely if the dialogue is the same with Tali romanced, but i never did it). There were hints that Tali was interested in Garrus, but he was oblivious of it. I guess she finally made it clear to him.

I never got that trope. Whenever the women were all in a hot spring, all the men were too.
Sera lmfaoooooo. I can totally see her as the prankster in the party.
I agree. She fits it most from what I've gathered. Everyone else is too serious or too conspicuous.
It'd be funny if she got Cole involved by having him go invisible. ![]()
Dat Sera, I could totally see her character doing that.
I recall some banter back and forth between Garrus and Tali that clearly suggested her interest, but I suppose it may have been missed since it was on the ship and you had to run around to hear it. I didn't care that they got together, personally. For all my Shepard knew the world was ending anyway, so let them have at it. She was hardly one to tell them no.
And of course, if companions get together in DAI, that could be interesting. I do like seeing things like that, as it helps to make the characters that much more "real."

I mean more let's "spy on the girls" as in Full Metal Panic FUMOFFU and Persona 3. I count Persona 3 as animeish despite the fact that it's a game.
But just ignore me, I was blabbering as I often do. Blah blah blah. ![]()
By the time they start hooking up it's Act III and Fenris has made an extra friend or two. He definitely spends time with at least Donnic, which would imply to me he's just branched out a little. They're definitely friends with benefits (with an emphasis on actually being friends), Fenris doesn't love Isabela, but he certainly likes her and cares about her wellbeing.
That suggests a level of functional adult far beyond what is acceptable in a Bioware companion.
I'm sure Garrus cares about Tali as well. It's also irrelevant to what I said.
If Aveline's husband counts as branching out, that sort of makes my point.
So true.
Aveline's branching out was... well, a cry for help all on its own. The fact that she was the most well put together person socially out of any Bioware companion says a lot about the others.

Other than that, I only recall that Garrus might've been glad to have tali back in both ME2 and ME3 (not sure on the first), and that Tali got annoyed in banter in the citadel with Garrus in ME2 and threatened to Shoot him with her shotgun.
Yeah, the first time I heard her reaction to the chocolates, I thought she was just excited about Turian chocolate being on the ship.
But if they have that conversation when you're romancing Garrus, she says something to Shepard about watching out for competition. I can buy Tali and Garrus because until ME3, you almost never see the party members talking to each other. So it's easy to imagine that there were many conversations that happened during their off hours, when they aren't with Shepard. We're talking years that they've known each other, now. Besides, Tali's favorite romcom is Fleet and Flotilla.

I must being confused. I wasn't talking about Tali or Garrus at all :/.
There is more flirt in Tali-Garrus talks, than in Hawke-Merrill.

Just because you don't see something, doesn't mean it's not happening. Companions don't have to tell you everything. Plus it is a matter of resources. What did you expect, Fleet and Flotilla's screen version?

But that's from Leviathan, so it didn't soften the shock of the Garrus-Tali romance in the first playthrough. And, personally, I'd like something a little more like Joker-Edi, maybe not that much attention, but definitely a little more. Precisely because I don't assume that just because it doesn't happen in the game it means it's not happening at all, I take as given that all of them have great sexual/love lives of their own. But why bring to the game if it's only for a short scene? It's not like the scene it's terribly funny or something either. I don't mind it but I certainly saw nothing particularly interesting in it,

Now really I would find that cool seeing relationships develop between followers since we spend so much time with them.
ME3 having squadmates move around and talk to each other was I think a MASSIVE improvement in this area.
That'd be great, but actually seeing a relationship develop. What we got so far, meh
What has it to do with Leviathan? It was in the original game.
Unless you saved Kaidan. I vaguely remember there was a bug, preventing talks in the engineering if you had Kaidan. Probably fixed it in Leviathan, along with Liara's LSB bug.

It''s wierd because I was totally convinced about it but it's clear that what you say makes more sense
I don't know, forget I said anything
I still prefer more development, though

I don't need something like Joker-Edi. Banters where characters flirt with each other and progress through the game is enough for me.
Nop, definitely they're not, I was wrong (the worst part of it it's that it's an ood thing to be wrong about, because it's true, why would they be from leviathan?
)
I don't know, maybe it's because Garrus and Tali knew each other for so many years and Tali arrives so late in the game... Personal tastes I guess,I don't find interesting knowing who they sleep with, if it doesn't affect their story somehow or if at least we don't get out of it a funny dialogue or something like that. It's not like I think it's worse that any other banter I find uninteresting though. But I definitely don't see the appeal, it doesn't make the characers more like they have a live of their own for me. Interaction between companions does, but regardless of it being romantic or not
I actually found the biggest progress in Bioware game's Relationships has been the companion/companion or companion/npc ones. I always thought it was funny that if you didn't make a move on them, then some of your companions would end up alone the entire time. The Player/Companion romances have always been good, I'm just hoping that in DAI some companions will immediately begin flirting with each other, and if you don't act by a certain milestone in the game then they will slowly and through stages become involved (just as you would). The biggest problem with ME3 Garrus/Tali is it kind of comes out of nowhere with nothing leading up to it (granted there are a few random dialogues that give minor clues toward it, but I'd love if it was more.... in sight and viewable... hmmm... kinda makes me seem like a creepy stalker lol... but I love a good romance story arc.
It'd be amusing to see a random NPC relationship crop up with companions should you not pursue them, like if Companion X is with you when you go to Greg's Poultice Emporium, suddenly Greg makes a loving remark to the companion.

Uh, vague spoilers for the SWTOR Bounty Hunter companions below.
I'm not opposed to it in DAI, but it would need to be well done and something that wouldn't totally screw over players who were unfamiliar that certain content would become unavailable to them at certain points in the story.

I think that's the difference that explains why I don't feel it adds anything and it's that I don't think they end up alone even if we don't see it. I assume our DA:O companions go on with their lifes (sex/love lives included) after we defeat the archdeamon, and there's a lot of blank spaces in DA2 and ME to think they've being enjoying theirselves. Maybe it doesn't work for every character, because some of them are extremely shy or are unconfortable with the idea of an intimate relationship for some reason, or whatever, but I think that's different.
But I agree with the idea of more content for companions romances, though I have to say that if I saw a potentially LI flirting happily with anyone else right from the beginning I think that it would heavily condition me and would probaly stop me from initiating a romance with him/her. So, that's ok, but I hope there's another 2 LIs available then ![]()
I really liked the fact that Garrus and Tali got together if neither was romanced, and I'd like to see Inquisition do something similar. It doesn't have to be with the LI's per se, but I wouldn't mind if it was. You cant hold a monopoly over someone you aren't even in a relationship with.
I said that Tali and Garrus were incestuous.
I don't see how you can declare a relationship between two people who aren't yourself and aren't related to be incestuous. A relationship between two non-related people would only be incestuous if they felt a strong familial bond with each other, which evidently Tali and Garrus do not since they have no qualms starting a romance.
You can't decide how other people view their own relationships.
