Define "some".
Female fans of Cullen who don't mind he's not a full companion? I'd say fans of Cassandra, but we can be reasonably sure Cullen'll be available for the ladies but have much less info on Cassandra.

Define "some".
Assuming 2/2/2... approximately 54.55% of people. 6 out of 11 since we know Leli won't be an LI. This is also assuming that each person only supports one of the LIs, which is... highly unlikely.
Most likely, there will be a lot of bittersweet feelings for everyone.
Edit: In the above, I am also assuming everyone is pleased with the LIs' orientations.

I hope that people find that even if the romance they thought they wanted and turns out is not available due to gender/sexuality barriers are surprised by someone they never expected.
I hope so too, especially since as you said there are more limitations than there were before.

Totally agree. I wasn't even remotely interested in any of the DA2 romances, but I absolutely fell in love with Fenris's romance. It was so well done.

Isabella's was good too. Albiet I probably would of preferred Aveline more than these two.
The worst was dealing with Anders and his whining.

I was initially disappointed that Aveline wouldn't be romanceable as I had been looking forward to her.
Then I actually interacted with her in the game.
Dodged a bullet, there.

Because of the comedic flirting with wet blanket tendencies, or the not actually being good at her job when you think about it thing?

Yeah, her string of failures is pretty impressive. People talk about everything being Hawke's fault, but seriously. Aveline's way more responsible.

I highly doubt that especially if companion romance choice is removed through use of npc's. Think there's going to be many unhappy peeps.

I was interested in Merrill's romance somewhat, niave and innocent and watching her grow.

I actually felt like Anders was the one who really needed Hawke. Fenris and Isabella have each other if you don't romance them.
Plus it's heavily implied in the codex Hawke is the only thing keeping Anders from losing himself to Justice completely. I CAN'T hate him because I feel like a lot of his doucheness is due to Justice. Most people loved Awakenings Anders. To me, that's the real him. Whatever he became after Justice possessed him was an angsty abomination. Someone did a voice split of Anders dialogue in DA2, and pretty much EVERYTHING HE SAYS, Justice is there, saying it too. I didn't even realize how many times it was actually Justice speaking. It's just really damn sad, IMO. Anders gets so much hate, but he really is a tragic character.

Mostly the horribly judgmental, self righteous busy-body thing. But also the not being very good at her job when you think about it thing.

When I heard about the Elves who went to the City Guard about their sister being raped and nobody did anything, so they killed her rapist and Aveline knew about it and didn't tell me, I was pissed. When you ask what their crime was at the house, she evades the question, implying she knows you wouldn't agree with arresting them. I kill people over less than that all the time, why should I get away with it and not these poor elves who were just trying to get justice? Why doesn't she throw me in jail? Sometimes, killing IS justified. Especially when you TRY to go through the proper channels and nothing is done. If she had done her job in the first place, maybe the elves wouldn't have killed that dude, huh Aveline??? She get's all mad when you say you would've done the same thing, but I WOULD HAVE. If someone raped Bethany? YOU BETTER BELIEVE I WOULD MURDERKNIFE THEIR ASS.

Law above justice is not an uncommon outlook.
I'm a believer in meritocracy so if you can do the job well enough you can be a tool for all I care.

Honestly my first indication that I wasn't going to like Aveline came when talking to the people who were going to get you into Kirkwall. She supported the Red Iron mercenaries, who ask you to murder a man before they'll help you(good reason or not), but doesn't like the smugglers who ask you to retrieve money they're owed, even though that one can be accomplished without violence.
I can understand her not wanting to work with smugglers, but she was a little too ok with the murder for hire bit there.

I didnt mind him the first two play throughs. Honestly your right, Justice was outspoken more. Anders just want sir pounce a lot and enjoy being free living. He was a bit carefree before. Not sure thats the right word. I did like Anders without Justice. Which, myself, would of sent Justice packing when the body was finished.I actually felt like Anders was the one who really needed Hawke. Fenris and Isabella have each other if you don't romance them.

Oops, I think I really need to replay these games again, my mind is rusty. I completely forgot about the two elves saving their sister. I found that horrible and distasteful. Apperently I must of allowed it to leave my mind cause it was horrid.
Hmm I retract my statement of Aveline then, at least Isabella just likes creating libraries.
