Everyone bi would solve all these problems.
It would solve most problems at least.
It just doesn't look like all-bi romances will be back this time around.

Predictions! Just random predictions with not a bit of evidence whatsoever:
Cassandra: Straight
Scribbles: Bisexual
Sera: Lesbian
Cullen: Straight
DHMG: Gay
Solas: Bisexual
I honestly am so bad at guessing!
I would love it if Varric could be romanceable but I don't see it happening. If he is, I shall be most pleasantly surprised.
(<-Look how cute that little emote is! With his cute little hat and all. He needed a spot on my post.)

Yes, but gender gating is important because it adds character and makes romances more realistic or something.
I still say if you want to restrict romances there are better things to use than gender. Though at this point I feel like I'm beating a dead horse to death.

Is Leliana confirmed has non romance even if the Warden didn't do her? I never see her mentioned.
Until said otherwise I can see all female companions(and the other girl) being possible romances, since we know so little about them you can't rule any of them out, With the men though I think it's easier to rule some out, Varric and Iron Bull especially I can't see, maybe with members of their own races, but if Iron Bull is restricted in any way, the Qunari PC should be as well, that doesn't seem like a direction BioWare will go. And the Warden companion, well he looks to be older, and we know that Wardens only have about 30 years after the joining, I don't see him as a romance option at all since he's likely very close to his calling.

The only 2 male characters I wouldn't want to romance are Cullen and DHMG but it seems like they will be 2 of the 3 romances...hopefully the female LI's are super awesome because it looks like I'm going lesbian this time lol.

Yes, Bioware said that if people were LIs in previous games they won't be available again. Shame too since Leliana is very pretty and I already love everything else about her.
The only man we can for certain rule out is 'Cole' if he is Cole since Gaider said he won't write one. Varric and Iron Bull are sadly probably not going to be available. That leaves Cullen(who we know is), DHMG, Grey Warden, and Solas as the possibles.
So if they do 2/4/2, then they can have them all but with each passing day I feel 2/4/2 is less likely. ![]()

I kind of like all the female companions, but I have weird racial preferences for them.
Cassandra: elf
Sera: qunari or elf or human
Vivienne: human or elf
If Cassandra's the only f/f option here, lots of elven Inquisitors for me ![]()

Is it possible that they change their mind and Leli becomes a romance?
Or maybe they were trolling us all from the get-go.
Probably just wishful thinking, but it wouldn't surprise me.

What makes you think the Grey Warden is a LI?

I just think he's possible. He's handsome and would have an interesting story potential due to being an experienced Grey Warden instead of newbies like Alistair and Anders.

I'm not so sure about people who are so easily dismissing Iron Bull as a possibility. It's not like Bioware doesn't have a track record of making some of the "less human" male characters LIs (see Garrus and Thane). We can play as a qunari, so unless they are restricting qunari PC romances (which I doubt), then it doesn't make much sense to restrict Iron Bull based on his race. I don't think it's likely given the other "more traditional" male options available, but I wouldn't say he's definitely out.
Varric is a bit different because as a character (not because he's a dwarf), he seems to not romanceable for other reasons. i'd be surprised if he was an LI, but again, not simply because he's a dwarf. More because he's Varric.

It really wouldn't surprise me, though. These guys can be master trolls.
Not that I'm holding my breath or anything.

Everything about him screams "father/mentor figure" in flashing letters. Plus Bioware has always played it safe with younger-looking LIs.

It just seems needlessly complicated though. I mean, would she be an additional option for straight guys and lesbians? Or would those players lose an option because they romanced her in an imported game? I tend to think that they wouldn't troll on this because I just don't understand why they would, but perhaps I'm wrong.

Because they never give us the big, butch, macho men, human or no and I don't want to get my hopes up and then be disappointed :<

See I think that's the best outlook. Not getting your hopes up I mean. I tend to look at the worst case scenario in the hopes that if I'm wrong I'll be pleasantly surprised and if I'm right... well I'm right and I knew what to expect.
Romance wise, it would be nice to see BW go with the less traditional unexpected options.

No, you have a point. I imagine in this case, she would simply be an additional option for the player.
I can't really comment on how it would play out with an imported save since we're not even sure how importing is going to work with the whole Keep thing.

And the Bianca Thing. Though I actually would not be surprised if Varric has some flirts or maybe even a fling option.

I expect it will be like ME2 and no f/f options will be available.
Keep'n the expectations low. Very low.

According to what? Your guesses are as good as ours.
And I wouldn't rule out Iron Bull just yet. Bioware's pimpage is strong in that one.

My problem lies in Iron Bull + Female Dwarf player. I'm familiar with the dark places of the internet but that just goes beyond what I deem acceptable, but I am just one man with a single opinion.

I never said otherwise. That is simply my guess.
