I was referring more to the slave mentality thing. I don't recall how long Fenris had been a slave, but a lifetime of that sort of lidestyle would be sure to leave some imprints. Isn't there a slave you can rescue/free in DA:2 that's all "Are you my master now?" because she doesn't know any different?

That doesn't make him being a bisexual "Make sense". Not to mention it could easily justify the opposite.

There, there, Hinata. You still have Naruto, right?

Hopefully. *keeps eyes on Sakura suspiciously*

Nah, I'd never hurt the devs...unless they went back to the DAO style...

Uh, DAO was, in my opinion, much superior to DA2 in a great many ways.  Granted, gift giving was broken and needs to be fixed, but aside from that and some broken character builds, it was very good.  Why do you hate good things? D:

I mean, it's already happened in the past, so... sorry?

The problem isn't the past, it's the possible future. We don't want an apology, we just don't want it to repeat.

Yes cause 2 LIs for m/f and 1 for s/s was superior.

And it still had the issue of people romancing people they should want nothing to do with! (Alistair with a bloodmage, Morrigan with a white knight).

I meant the LI system lol, where I only got one LI option. Everything else was perfection.

Every Dragon Age game has that, because you can rivalmance (where getting rivalry points is more hostile actions towards that character).

Also, Morrigan doesn't care about his character that much, she just needs the Warden for Plan : Dark Ritual.

Look, I'm sure you didn't mean anything offensive with your statement, but the fact is that you are dancing around some potentially offensive stereotypes.  I'm just trying to point that out.  There's no such thing as "seeming" bisexual.  Whatever criteria you are using to evaluate whether a person is bisexual is inherently flawed unless that criteria is a single item:  "Is this personal sexually attracted to both males and females?"  That's really the only thing needed to "seem" bisexual.

Oh, I didn't at all lol I'm just saying what I feel towards the game/situation. And I know that all that defines a sexuality is the actual attraction (being gay myself), but I duno. i just personally like a lil' more information other than "hey, i'm gonna hit on you whatever your gender" lol

Yawn.  I have realism in my real life.  I like fantasy in my fantasy game.

Also, depends on the bar.  Just saying......

teen-wolf-tyler-poser-1.gif  teen-wolf-tyler-poser-gay-club.gifteen-wolf-gay-club.gif

As for the realism argument, I'd sincerely love to see it cease to be used.

I think it's really pointless given the many times that realism doesn't enter into it.

I could plant my flag on the hill of "hardly anyone could afford to wear dyed clothes" or I could ignore it and just play the game.

I am okay with one of two systems: all bi or equal opportunity in a 2/2/2 split.

I think it's less a problem with the system and more a fear of not getting to romance someone you want with the Inquisitor you want.

Oh.  Well, you should have said so.  I really don't care that much about it any more; my initial opinion was against player sexuality, but I've gone to apathy on it.  I just hope they reintroduce not taking a companion or telling them to get lost.

You can't rivalmance in DAO.

That explains why she's sleeping with him not why she falls in love with him.

Yeah, the DA: O system was super-flawed:

* Unequal distribution of LI's across sexuality

* Gift spamming for romance

* No flags for blood mages with Alistair and Morrigan with white knight

* The ability to "complete" sleep with Morrigan and Zevran in your very first dialogue at camp

* Ninjamancing with most of the characters

I dont' see why anyone would hold it up as something to return to.....

Well, to me it does. So there. Just saying my opinion, which I thought we were allowed to do on these forums...

And congrats. I'll look for you when I need to form a debate team lol

Your issue was Morrigan with a White Knight and Alistair with a Blood Mage.  Rivalmances came in DA:2 and allowed the same sort of problem, so there was no change.

Easiest solution : Morrigan is lying and abused the Warden's relationship/trust by having Flemeth killed and trying Plan : DR for herself.

Then why would she still wait at the Eluvian and let the warden go through with her? I guess you could argue she wants him as some kind of guard dog, still, but I think we're stretching the headcannon. If she just wanted to do the DR, she would have split for good like she said she would. She doesn't.

That's a pretty disgusting justification IMO but you're right you have the right to an opinion.

Except it was actually acknowledged instead of completely ignored so it was a step forward.

Oh yeah I always assumed she was lying her ass off so that works. Doesn't explain Alistair though and unlike Anders, Merrill and Fenris he's not emotionally needy enough to put up with it as he shows in other situations (warden having him at hostile).

Well, considering that she now serves Celene and that Warden went missing...

Because every Warden, male or female, is a great warrior who has likely slaughtered thousands at that point, including (potentially) Flemeth.  She's in a strange area beyond the Fade and it's likely others will come for her at some point.  Don't forget, she only takes you if you gave her what she wanted aka, romance + DR (in my experience, correct me if I'm wrong).

I agree that it is possible for Morrigan to fall in love with the Warden, but only because Gaider confirmed it way back when.

Well, if you want a reason, how about that Alistair is a virgin who knows he's likely going to die.  And, you know, he's down with saving Conner even if it takes blood magic, so I don't see the problem here.

Edit: Ryz, your quote broke.  Why you do this? D:

Why you gotta be like this :(

Cassandra's my backup plan for Quizzy if DHMG is unavailable.

No he's not. He says he is then bites your head off about it 10 minutes later at camp. And the whole virgin thing should work with Morrigan but you have to pass the persuade to get him to sleep with her.
