In terms of looks - as a female Inquisitor I would go for Cullen or Blackwall. As a male - Sera looks to be the only one I would consider. Not sure about Scribbles, and not even sure she will be LI option.

None of the female ones look particularly outstanding to my liking, but I do think they're attractive. They also look less "artificial", more "real" than in previous games. But that may be just because DA2's graphics seemed somewhat cartoonish to me, while DAO' were just rather primitive (though I still prefer them to DA2's).

Am I the only one who thinks if Bioware ever got really in the red all they would have to do is make a dating sim to get out. It doesn't even need a fictional setting. They could place it Edmonton, and people would still buy it. 

I doubt that I would buy a dating sim because the thing in DA and ME series is that the game is much more than just a dating sim. So what I think about the romances and Bioware's games is that the romances really make the game worth buying for but if there wouldn't be a game in the first place then why would I buy it? The romances work so well because there is so much more in the game. If it's left out then I think the romance content wouldn't work either.

While I don't doubt there are a few people who buy this game only for the ploughing, I highly doubt BioWare will ever make a dating sim game for that extremely small percent of their fans.

I really wanted to romance Varric something fierce. So far I haven't seen a single character that sparks my interest, even slightly.

 

If there isn't another "Fenris" romance for me, no big deal. I don't think anything will top that for me, personally.

 

I think the game is going to be so awesome and I will be so immersed that it won't be a huge letdown if there isn't a romance that suits me.

I know you're joking, and the romances are not a primary reason I play Bioware games, but a well written dating sim (I am assuming Bioware = well written here )? I would absolutely buy that.

I plan on romancing Iron Bull with my male qunari mage inquisitor (my main) but if I cant, i'll romance Dorian, Solas depending on which personality I like more. If blackwall is a same-sex romance option, i'll consider him as well. I dont think he will be though, and even if he is I dont know if I'll do it. However, I do want my character to have a close friendship with him, Iron Bull (If I can't romance him) and Varric. I want my party to be Iron Bull, Blackwall and Varric. It shall be the ultimate bromance party. I expect amazing party banter.

 I've never been enthralled right off the bat with any of the DA romances, but I eventually ended up "falling in love" with one of the romance options both times. With Zevran it was because I adored his party banter, and with Fenris it's because I felt like romancing him made me play the game in a way I wouldn't normally have played it, and it made my first playthrough of DA:II all the more enjoyable when I forced character flaws onto my PC.

No hate from me.  I have actually suggested and have been encouraging BW for years on the forums that they should make an Adventure/Life Sim genre of game, where it's all dialogue choices and interpersonal interaction between characters, branching relationships, and plot decisions.  Basically, a BW game without the combat.  I'd buy it.

The more Aimo comics I read, the more I wish that Blackwall was actually an LI, the more I have to tell myself that he probably won't be, the more Aimo comics I have to read to comfort myself.

I love her comics. Since I always play dwarves first myself it's veeery easy to love her dwarf centric comics (and frankly they're just fantastic even if I didn't love the dwarves)

Only if they moddled the Protag after me and one of the options after my wife. We even both live in Edmonton!

Plus, if Bioware's writing it, I could be the dwarf character. And my wife could be my sexy dwarf lover.
