SWTOR had 22 romances + lots and lots of flings (it is a BioWare game, a few of the DAI writers worked on it even). Someone made a comment without knowing BioWare games/romance count or forgot to list all the "exception".

Allan said the they didn't count SWTOR. They forgot about that one since it is in a different studio.

I'm hoping Cassandra is on that list of playersexual-based romances. She's the only character I'm impressed by thus far.

 

I don't want romances in general to be fucked up this time around.

 

Yeah, no playersexual. But i want Cass too for my qunari quizzy.

If she can be romanced by qunari, or even women.

To be fair, TOR is an MMO so it's technically on a whole other level by itself.

Oh, I'm not gloating. I know it only appears I may be right, not that it is shown that I am. It just feels good when a theory that almost everyone dismisses suddenly appears like a distinct possibility.

Please no Solas as one of the m/m options!  Unless, Iron Bull AND Dorian are both bisexual.  I would hate it if it's the biggest cast of LI's and one of my two choices is still a skinny elf.  But if there are more than two options for me, then I'd be totally fine with it.  (Of course, I'd still prefer Dorian to be gay and Cullen and Iron Bull to be bisexual.....)

The more fair version (to me anyway) would probably have Vivi gay and Sera straight.

Does it really matter that much which characters are going to be straight/bi/gay? I mean if people are going to be doing multiple playthroughs anyway, why not just roll an Inquisitor who can romance them? Are people really so against playing an Inquisitor of the opposite gender?

 

I'll hopefully be trying out every race/gender combo eventually, so for me at least it doesn't really matter who any particular character is attracted to.

Yay! Team dwarf. You should be good then, dwarves are sturdy, they can handle a few rounds with a Qunari.

Yes, it matters to me.  I'm not opposed to playing as a female, but I have NO desire to play a heterosexual character at all.  If Dorian is straight, I'll never romance him even though he's clearly my favorite because I don't have any connection to straight romance storylines.  However, if a female I like (looking at you, Vivienne!), I'm more than happy to do a single female playthrough in order to access that content.  To me, it very very much matters.

I like playing elves. Usually for my bishies... XD

 

Nah because GW's an even worse option to me (so tired of the I'm going to die horribly soon romances).
